Our sailing experience begins at Monroe Harbor right in downtown Chicago. Guests will enjoy a captained cruise on our sailing yacht, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37. We will cast off and motor out to Lake Michigan where we will set sail to a favorable course. Bring your favorite food and drinks, listen to music, relax, and take in the views of our city’s iconic buildings from the lakefront. The courageous can try their hand at the helm and rigging the sails-Captain Greg is a volunteer sailing instructor for a local non-profit and enjoys sharing his knowledge. On hot days be sure to bring a bathing suit to swim in the lake to cool off. Please feel free to inquire about custom bookings. We have hosted engagements, bachelorette parties, corporate outings and many more memorable events! We will start with a traditional Agua fresca, and then you will make your own mole from scratch, recognizing all the ingredients and steps, we also gonna smoke the way the ancestors do hundreds of years ago. im gonna gide you in each step but I want you to be hands on. We will enjoyed the mole at the end, served buffet style with chicken, jalapeño green rice, beans with avocado leaves, and veggies. I´m gonna introduce you all the simple ingredients that you need for make this unique Spanish and Catalan dishes. then together we gonna cook our paella and fideua, and Im gonna explain you all the secrets for have unique and authentic flavors. Paella is a traditional Spanish dish make with proteins, spices and rice, and fideua is another dish with the same beginnings, the change is that in here we use seafood, and fideo (noodles), instead of rice. 1. Guests join us at our space Studio W.I.P. and dive into the world of spray paint and urban art. All instruction is done by local artists. Each guest will go home with their very own piece of the mural to remember their night. 2. Upon entering guests can relax and enjoy our ever changing gallery. Feel free to bring a beverage. It's BYOB! Guests will unleash their inner street artist on a 50ft wall! This interactive workshop will turn guests into the artist and be guided along the way. Experimenting with lettering, stencils, aerosol, & cap technique guests will experience something truly unique. 3. Our main objective is to break down stereotypes that often are connected with spray paint. Guests will leave with curiosity and basic skills when applying aerosol to boot.

You will learn the basics of forging iron with a coal-fired forge. You'll meet me at my shop, and with a hammer in hand you'll learn the basics of blacksmithing. You will square, taper, twist, bend, scroll, and flatten the metal into your unique wall hook. Other things to note This is a rustic hands-on work experience. Be prepared to get dirty! Chicago offers a lot of hidden bars for night owls. We will start the night at my favorite hidden gem in West Loop, we will spend about one hour here then head to the next bar which is an 8 minute walk. Some of the bars have secret entrances so be ready for a fun night. The bars have amazing cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, good music and a good ambiance. There are plenty of secret bars and unfortunately we cannot explore all of them in one night. However, I will share with you the location of other secret bars which you can visit later. Please be advised that drinks or food are NOT included. This is not prohibition level speakeasy tour, this is a chill bar hopping experience. I was not born in the early 1900s and don’t know anything about prohibition so don’t ask. Have a drink and relax. Please note the experience time says it lasts 3 hours but you are welcomed to stay at the bars as long as you like. You will be using a coal-fired forge, treadle hammer, tongs, cross peen hammer, and anvil, along with a 2"X72" belt grinder. We will be hand-forging a railroad spike into a beautiful and functional knife. We will start by firing the coal forge and drawing out the handle with the treadle hammer. We will twist the handle and start drawing out the blade. Once we have a handle and blade formed we will "quench" the blade to harden it. We will use the grinder to put an edge on your finished Railroad Spike Knife. A fun and historical walk through the world famous Art Institute of Chicago. This is a museum I know so well I can walk you around with my eyes closed - but don't worry I won't! I love art and art history, but I try not to take everything TOO seriously, as I show you some of the world's greatest art, and also make jokes along the way. You will learn the history of the museum itself as well as the history of the pieces in it. The galleries house everything from Oil Paintings to miniatures and everything in history from ancient Greek and Indigenous creations to early contemporary masterpieces: Plato to Picasso.* We will meet in front of the Art Institute of Chicago. Based on your interest, I can procure a specific walk for you. Otherwise I will take you through the galleries, starting on the second floor with the Renaissance and ending at the Impressionists. The Tour itself will last 1.5 hours, from 3PM-4:30 PM. At that time I can lead you to a specific place, end at the gift shop, or let you have time to explore on your own. There are reading rooms, food markets and peaceful places to sit and take it in. *Please note: If your only interest is Contemporary art I would not suggest this tour, but you can include it in your last half hour No food, uncovered drinks (only bottled water) or Backpacks in the museum.
