All Semanywa's listed amenities were exactly as shown in the pictures. The pool is perfect for an evening swim and the place is just so peaceful and private. The house manager was extremely helpful and even though there was a communication barrier, she and Semanywa made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kigali and need both serenity and reasonable proximity from Kigali Center.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this luxury villa in Kigali with kids. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality, elegant design, and stunning views. The villa was immaculately clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for a family stay — with thoughtful amenities that made our children feel right at home. The staff (especially Eli) were attentive without being intrusive, and every detail was handled with care. A peaceful, safe, and luxurious retreat that exceeded our expectations. This place is exquisite! Well taken care of and clean and in a nice neighborhood! The host was so nice, friendly, responsive and kind The stuff there is also helpful and friendly. My friends and I had a blast there. Everything there is top notch. Surely, Give Daine your money!! Lol!

THE LOCATION IS NOT LISTED CORRECTLY! it is 15 minute drive to the east (!) of the airport otherwise: the place was great overall, explicitly because the staff is so helpful! they got us a car for rent, they did our laundry, they brought everything we wanted right to our door. place is very clean, nothing to complain.

This was our first trip to Africa, so there was a lot to get acquainted with and having this space as our retreat was wonderful. Despite the language barrier, we seemed to communicate pretty well and our house helper was so kind and kept the place in sparkling order. What initially attracted us to the rental was the pool, and it was EXQUISITE - so refreshing during this dry season. The lifeguard came regularly and kept the water very clean. We were grateful for the screened windows, the fans and the optional mosquito netting over the beds. They even did a load of laundry for us during our stay and were proactive in meeting up with us to deliver it when we were back from a side trip to the rain forest. There were a good few options for enjoying a morning coffee on the patio and we always had enough space for 3 adults to have some private space behind a locked gate around the property. We always felt safe and would stay here again.

Wir haben hier im März 2024 als Familie mit fünf Personen gewohnt. Das Haus ist sehr schön, modern, großzügig. Es war sehr sauber als wir ankamen und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Kommunikation mit dem Host war freundlich und hilfsbereit, es gab immer schnell eine Antwort bei Fragen. Leider konnten wir die Dusche in einem der Badezimmer oben nicht nutzen, da der Abfluss gar nicht funktionierte. Auch war es am Anfang etwas schwierig mit dem Wasserdruck und parallel dass das Wasser nicht wirklich warm/heiss wurde. Letzteres ließ sich aber nach wenigen Tagen und Ausprobieren der Einstellungen des Heizsystems beheben. Die Wasserpumpe ist mega laut – aber geht halt nicht anders. Sonst ist die Gegen schön, man fühlt sich total sicher und alles ist toll bepflanzt. Nur der Weg zum Haus/der Gated Community ist sehr sehr abenteuerlich, schafft nicht jedes Auto. Da ist bisher nichts erschlossen an Straßen. Alles in allem haben wir eine tolle Zeit gehabt und kämen wieder. Danke

Loved my stay at the home! It was very clean and conveniently located near many restaurants and supermarkets we walked to most of them. It’s also close to Amahoro Stadium and BK Arena for those who want to visit. The host responded very quickly to all our queries. We even recommended the place to some relatives. Overall, 10/10 — loved it!

This is a very cool place to stay — the house is well designed and set up. We particularly loved the back garden with the fire pit and outdoor furniture. The inside of the house is also bright and spacious. The housekeeper and night guard were very helpful during our stay, and Divine made everything easy as well. 10/10 recommend and we’d love to return next time we’re in Musanze.

House 23 is amazing, a pure gem. Well decorated, super comfortable. The neighborhood is great, with excellent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I recommend !

I have found my go-to place anytime I am in Kigali. It is a peaceful neighbourhood, you can get anywhere easily from the house and the house is exactly as it looks in pictures (clean and feels like home). Most importantly, the host is amazing. She is extremely responsive, provides great recommendations and assistance and makes your stay stress-free. This is an easy 5-star review. I totally recommend the house if you are looking for where to stay in Kigali.

This house was beautiful. I stayed here with friends when we visited Kigali for a friend’s wedding. Amazing place,near town,amazing and helpful hosts, very helpful and friendly house keeper,clean house,everything was 10 out of 10. I highly recommend ✅

Als we meer dan 5 sterren konden geven, hadden we dat gedaan. Prachtige plek en top service. Als je wilt kan de lokale gastheer alles voor je regelen van ontbijt en diner tot uitstapjes. Het huis was een heerlijk ruim huis waar je je gelijk thuis voelt. Het geeft je een heerlijk vakantie gevoel. echt Top!!

Great house with a wonderful terrace above the lake. No mosquitoes in the house as the host put good mosquito nets and we closed all windows well before sunset. Dinner and beer on the terrace were wonderful. We had stars above and the quiet lake below. Across the lake is a simple village specialised in local beer, grilled pork and simple shopping. It is 500 meters by canoe or motorboat.

Stephy and Ms Suzanne were an absolute GODSEND for me. They are both extremely hospitable and went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and at home. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. They are excellent hosts!

Our stay was great!

Alp’s house is perfectly located in the Kimihurura neighbourhood with bars and trendy restaurants within walking distance. While in the city and centric, once in, you are in nature, surrounded by green trees and a huge garden, often with a cozy evening fire. Waking up to the song of birds, sitting in the terrace having a Turkish coffee prepared by Alp and seeing a couple of turaco birds sing and dance while breathing Kigali's crispy morning air was certainly a unique experience. The wooden sauna was just the cherry on the top. Getting in there in the evening and sweating out all the worries from a hard workday was just fantastic. Without doubts I will stay again at Alp’s when I get back to Kigali! Thank you Alp for all the conversations and the wisdom!

Very calm and very pleasant

My third time here, and another great stay! The location is phenomenal-- a private & tranquil refuge with plenty of space, right on the water, tucked away among a string of hotels/restaurants in easy walking distance. The interior feels a bit un-lived-in but is comfortable enough. Ezekiel the guard was kind and helpful. Only two notes: 1) The AirBnB-mapped location is way off; true location is just below Inzu, per the listing description. 2) No wifi when we were there, which would have been very nice to know beforehand. My group and I needed a getaway, and this stay was exactly that. It offered a somewhat secluded feel while still being conveniently located—just 7 to 10 minutes from businesses and near the university—making it a perfect fit for us. The home was nice, and overall, we had a great stay. I have to commend the host for their responsiveness; there were a few minor issues, but they addressed them promptly and to the best of their ability. Communication was excellent, and they made a great effort to ensure my group and I enjoyed our time. I would definitely book with them again. Just a heads-up: the last 5 minutes of the drive to the house are on unfinished roads due to ongoing development in the area, so be prepared for that.
