Small and nice!

The property is located in the "guesthouse Mörtl", a house from the 60s. It is located in the middle of the village of Faak am See. The lake is only a few minutes walk away, turquoise blue, with a wonderful mountain panorama. It is one of the southernmost and warmest swimming lakes in Austria. The property has direct access to the garden with mountain view. Train station, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket and inn are very close. The surrounding area invites you to numerous activities, such as hiking, cycling or swimming.

Enjoy this cozy apartment with large balcony and partial view of Lake Faak. Very centrally located and only a few minutes walk from the public beach (free of charge). The nicely furnished apartment can accommodate two to three people. Open-plan kitchen and living area with pleasant atmosphere, spacious bathroom and bedroom. Bikes can be parked in the private, lockable basement compartment. A grocery store is opposite.

You will stay in an adjacent nature reserve with a fitness course, through which you can walk to the beautiful Lake Faak in 15 minutes, which you can enjoy free of charge with our bathing cards and in winter you are only 15 minutes by car from the Gerlitzen Kanzelbahn.

We had a wonderful stay at Gebhard's & Eva's apartment. The apartment is even better than in the photos and the bathhouse with the private lake access is a great bonus! We traveled with a toddler, and were kindly provided with a baby cot and high chair. We would come back anytime!

A bright living area is showcased with large glass windows allowing natural light to flood the space. Cozy seating is arranged invitingly, while a golden pouf and wooden accents provide texture. A view of trees and outdoor decking is visible through the glass.

Absolutely incredible place! What a fairytale. You are quite literally above the clouds! The house is set up in such a beautiful way- with every part having its own unique view of the valley. The hosts were so helpful and responsive to our needs! Would love to stay here again ❤️❤️❤️

Everything worked out great, we were very satisfied.

Patricia was very helpful and kind! There were 5 of us and we had a great time, the house is 70s style but has everything you need, the outside is a large garden with a ping pong table, swing and lounger, there is also a porch where you can eat outside! Everything was clean and tidy, the only thing was the bathroom was a little uncomfortable as the bathtub was very small and therefore uncomfortable, but otherwise everything was perfect! There was also a dishwasher and a washing machine! Really everything you needed to feel at home

Despite late arrival due to the start of the Easter holidays, the host was on site and explained everything necessary in her nice way. Apartment is superbly equipped and the bathroom is a highlight. Very very nice and understanding hostess. The location is a dream in the immediate vicinity of Lake Faak and Villach. Can only give 5 stars out of 5 possible. Would love to book again and highly recommend! 👍👍👍👍👍
