Vacation rentals with a patio in Kranidi

We had a lovely stay at Hydra Serene Escape. Firstly, Maria was very friendly and responsive, and she provided very clear instructions about how to get into the property. The apartment was clean and tidy and provided everything we needed. On arrival we were greeted by Maria’s Mum, who was very friendly and gave us lots of water and cat food which was received well. We very much enjoyed staying in Kamini, which was a 15-20 minute walk from Hydra Port along either the gorgeous coastal path or through the beautiful (albeit hilly) streets of the town. Being this side of the town meant we were also only a 30-40 minute walk to Plakes Beach, which we would highly recommend. The highlight of our stay though was the apartment’s beautiful garden. We sat every morning enjoying the picturesque views and peaceful surroundings, listening to the birds while enjoying an iced coffee from the cafe (just at the bottom of the steps) and the company of the friendly local cats. Thanks for making it special!

Sue’s place was a gem. Easy walking distance from the bustling Hydra port and 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous swimming spot, restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous outdoors area with views of the mountain and had everything we needed. Sue was very responsive to our messages and offered to help with transport from the harbour. We are fit and strong but if you are not I would take her recommendation for a sea taxi or donkey. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the island and surrounding areas and has lots to offer in terms of travel planning beyond Hydra. We would definitely come again and understand why we met so many people who return to Hydra every year. As an extra bonus Sue also offered to do our washing for us and we woke to find clean clothes on the line waiting for us.

Beste Lage! Süße kleine Unterkunft - genau wie auf den Fotos, alles was man für seinen Aufenthalt braucht. Manolis ist sehr nett und hat auf Fragen schnell geantwortet.

This place is MAGICAL! Absolutely perfect for a couple or for 2-3 solo travelers for a long weekend. Nothing is more than a five minute walk, and it is SO close to the port!

We spent 2 whole weeks in October in Mariangela's apartment, when the weather was still warm, but not too hot, and the water temperature was perfect (24-25 degrees). Our main goal was having a relaxing time and the apartment ideally fitted this goal. We received the key for access to a private beach, 100 meter from the home, so we went swimming almost every day, sometimes even twice. Other beaches were nearby. Notwithstanding our late arrival at 10 PM we were met cordially by Mariangela and her husband Michael. The refrigerator was filled with welcome gifts, such as wine, juice, bread and paté. Also there were lots of food supplies (coffee, tea, own olive oil, candies, crackers), all of which we were invited to use. Mariangela and Michael were very helpful and momentarily answered to all our requests. Michael even invited us for a private boat trip, which we unfortunately had to decline. We immediately felt at home in the apartment! Next time in Greece we will surely return here!

Anastasia is an exceptional and thoughtful host. Her studio is exactly as pictured and is one of the most well appointed Airbnbs we have stayed in. The patio enhances the studio with privacy and a comfortable place to eat or relax among her plantings. The location is a short walk from the ferry and walkable for beach, port , shopping and restaurants. She sent specific instructions for entry and many tips on enjoying our stay. Also sent us up to date ferry schedules reducing the stress of getting there. Highly recommended!! Thank you Anastasia.

Ήταν όλα πολύ όμορφα , το κατάλυμα ήταν όπως περιγράφεται. Ήταν πολύ καθαρά με όλες τις παροχές. Η βεράντα ήταν καταπληκτική. Η πρόταση μας είναι μια ομπρέλα ή τέντα για προστασία από τον πρωινό ήλιο στην βεράντα !

Ευγενικότατος σπιτονοικοκύρης και η βίλα εκπληρώνει όλες τις αναμενόμενες προσδοκίες. Είναι λίγο πιο έξω από το Ναύπλιο και ίσως ο δρόμος μέχρι εκεί να μην είναι τέλειος, αλλά τουλάχιστον είναι ασφαλτοστρωμένος και αξίζει το δρόμο μέχρι εκεί, μιας και έχει φοβερή θέα, παρέχει πισίνα και είναι ήσυχα.

Patricia hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Unterkunft hat es an nichts gefehlt und der erste Kaffe am Morgen mit Blick auf das Meer und den fantastischen Fels ist unbezahlbar. Rocabella ist ein wahres Schmuckstück.

The villa is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The hosts responds immediately to any request and she is very kind! The house is fully equipped with everything you need, like it is your own house. Thank you for the wonderful Greek experience!!!

We had a wonderful time in this place. The airbnb is perfectly located on the Hill with a beautiful view across the port. We felt immediately at home in this beautifully furnitured and equipped house. We very much enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The place is perfectly situated to nearby restaurants, markets, bars and the port. From there it was easy to reach the port and take a taxi or rent a bike to roam around the island. We stayed for 4 nights and wished we could even stay longer as it was such a wonderful place. We would definitely come again. Thank you!

Loved my stay here. It was adorable and had no problems. Was showed around the home by the housekeeper, who was very sweet and even left me with a snack! It has a beautiful view of the sunset and the clock tower. Would highly recommend to anyone and would stay here again. It’s also close to the port if you don’t mind walking or a quick taxi away! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon!! It was exactly as described and in the pictures. The location is perfection for accessing all the wonderful restaurants in Nafplio and quick 8 minute walk to the beach/ super close to the Palamadi castle hike! The street the house is on was very quiet and beautiful. We would 100% return with more friends and family as the upstairs has additional bedrooms. Especially loved the little rooftop area. Area to park your car is a 10 minute walk and also very easy to access (free everyday!). Stay here!!!

We had a fantastic stay! Ilias and Argyro were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Hydra itself is beyond charming! Up on a hill and a little removed from the congestion of the town, the house is quiet and comfortable. It’s an historic home that has been renovated, and the quality of the construction is very impressive - as is all the artwork! Our one challenge was the WiFi was not working in the unit, which was a problem as we are remote workers. Ilias graciously walled off a large section of the house upstairs for our use immediately adjacent to a second network router, but even there network speeds weren’t great - 10 to 15mps (a small fraction of what we are accustomed to). So as much as we enjoyed the home, the town and our hosts, we would be a little reluctant to offer a full throated endorsement for digital nomads. Vacationers should definitely come! Remote employees? Maybe…

Eirini war schnell erreichbar.und gab uns klare Informationen über die Unterkunft und die nähere Umgebung der Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft, die sehr zentral gelegen ist, gerne weiterempfehlen!

Très bon accueil de la part de Vasiliki, logement confortable et avec tout le nécessaire, nous y avons passé 3 nuits agréables.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist ideal, um die Umgebung von Nafplio zu erkunden. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Obwohl wir Timi nicht persönlich getroffen haben, hat er immer sofort auf Nachrichten regiert und alle Fragen sofort beantwortet, inklusive Restauranttipps. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Once in a while, I have an Air BnB stay that I will NEVER forget. One where not only the space is memorable but the hosts unforgettable. I left feeling as if I’d stayed in luxury and made new special friends. The location was close enough to both beaches or the marina - just a very pretty 15-20 mins walk. The apartment was fabulous! Above and beyond what I expected. The bed and pillows super comfy and the lounge felt like home - not just functional like so many other Airbnbs. The artistic finishing touches made it distinctive. There is a shared entrance with a dinning area used by both apartments, however I never saw the other guests at all. The client was SUPER RESPONSIVE. I had read every previous review and could see every single comment had influenced the attention to details. For example, one review suggested curtains over a glass door and they were now provided. 5 star hotel facilities in private surrounding. Thank you so much guys! See you next year ;)

Words cannot begin to describe what an amazing time we had. Argyris is an outstanding person and his Airbnb has everything. He was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond with recommendations, helping us with logistics, and making it a special time for our entire family. We came as a family for a wedding and the apartment had everything we could need, including treats on arrival. Our son was extremely happy and the outside area was a major plus for us. We can’t wait to come back and have left a piece of our heart on the island!

Dimitros vermietet eine wundervolle Wohnung, die unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen hat!! Die Ausstattung und das Styling lassen keine Wünsche offen. Super war auch die Tiefgarage! Die Kommunikation mit Dimitros und Eleni funktionierte reibungslos. Danke für diese wunderschönen Tage in Nafplio, auch dank Dimitros Wohnung!

We could not have been happier with this house or this host! Both were wonderful. I highly recommend for anyone eager for a comfortable place in beautiful Nafplio!

Wow. We've stayed in some interesting and funky places over the years, however, the Art Basement has to be one of the funkiest! The atmosphere was fun, anything and everything one might need or want is right there. Lots to see and explore right there in the Basement! Plus, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot, the place is clean... And the funk factor is a 10. (Loved the radios and typewriter!) As for the location, we could walk to restaurants or shopping. With a car, it was super easy to get around Nafplion and relatively short drives out to Epidaurius and Mycenae. It's under two hours to get back to Athens. Yes! We would recommend this location to anybody who's exploring the Pelopenese Peninsula. Stay in Nafplion and book the Art Basement. You'll love it! Opa!
