Beachfront vacation rentals in Kona

Stuart's place is truly home away from home. Every little detail so well thought out, you won't find yourself stepping out to stock up on essentials, be it in the kitchen or bathroom. Be it towels, beach chairs/mats or toys, everything is sanitized and available to borrow. Stuart was very accommodating of my request for early check in, which is a blessing when traveling with a toddler. He even had a high chair ready for us. We enjoyed our evenings in the lanai, and I can't wait to be back soon. Thank you, Stuart.

This 1 bedroom apartment has everything I needed for a long term stay: an equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, WiFi, cable/Roku TV, comfortable furnishings, a lanai with a view, and designated parking. The pool at the complex was excellent for daily swims. The ocean-front location of the complex provided beautiful sunset views.

Was better than booking with the hotel directly. You can see manta rays feeding at night right from the hotel. Waking distance to manta ray dive operators.

We enjoyed our stay at Nico and Sarah's condo. It was a convenient location and had everything we needed. Nico and Sarah were responsive to our questions. I would stay here again.

Our family ranging from 77 to 7 all agreed that the house exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the quiet setting with lots of places to walk {I think grandpa, walked them all}, the fully equipped kitchen, and the pool (of course). My grand daughter named the resident geckos and gave them all a fond goodbye. We had to drag our 16-year old off Magic Sands beach. We all enjoyed several snorkeling spots and splurged on a Fair Winds "Kona’s Best Morning Snorkel: Captain Cook & Kealakekua Bay." Many thanks.

Jason’s condo is one of the nicest, most comfortable/convenient places that we’ve ever stayed. Centrally located with all of the amenities of home. We’re already talking about returning there sometime in the future. Jason is a 10+ communicator and just an all around great person. The condo was worth every penny that we paid for it!

Absolutely stunning accommodations! The unit is impeccably clean (and I have exceptionally high standards of what "clean" actually means!), perfectly situated, has amazing views, and the hosts were extremely responsive. If one is sensitive to heat/warm weather and uncomfortable without AC, be prepared, as there is no AC and it did get very hot (there are plenty of fans throughout the unit for those who can manage with just fans and a breeze from the ocean). I would highly recommend this unit to others; it was a fantastic stay...the only problem was we couldn't stay longer. Mahalo Ron & Chris 🌺

Beth was a terrific hostess! She always responded warmly to us. Her home and lanai are amazing! And the EASY walk to Manini Beach was the huge cherry on top. Thank you Beth for the use of all the beach toys and snorkel gear!!

We had a wonderful time at Jennifer's place! I would highly recommend to anyone who is traveling to Big Island and wants to stay Kona side. The views were spectacular - we didn't want to leave the condo to explore because sitting on the couch and lanai was so nice. We traveled with our one year old daughter, Jennifer's place had a pack-n-play, high chair and stroller to use while we were there, making our stay and travel experience 10x better! We will definitely be back!

The apartment was beautiful! The view was exactly as the photo depicted. The place was organized, clean, and was supplied with almost everything and anything we needed. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

We had an amazing time in Hawaii staying at Mel’s place. The space was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The bed was super comfy, and we slept great throughout our entire stay. Mel was very responsive and helpful, which made the whole experience, from check-in to check-out smooth and stress free. If you're planning a trip to the Big Island, I highly recommend staying at his place. It’s absolutely worth it!

Jan and Cami were very nice to deal with. Their condo is in an amazing location. They thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Very well organized space. It was clean and inviting.

Chad’s home was a wonderful. First of all he was great with communication. We were desperate because our original Airbnb reservation, the host never gave us the code to enter the home and never responded until a half hour before the original check in. Luckily with the Airbnb customer service help, we found Chad’s home. It was so relaxing waking up every morning to the water watching the surfers as we had our coffee. In the afternoon we took the best naps listening to the waves crash. The bed was so comfy, well stocked kitchen and lots of beach things like chairs, towels and coolers. We can’t thank Chad enough for the perfect Hawaiian stay!

Very responsive, and kind! Loved my stay at this Airbnb, the weather wasn’t that great for my visit but the Airbnb made it better! View was great, looked just like the pictures!

This was my second stay here. Condo has been updated beautifully since my last stay in 2022. Stephen and Amber go above and beyond with extra touches. Felt very at home!

Jeremy’s condo was great! Clean and just as advertised. The condo came equipped with all the essentials for a beach vacation. We appreciated the beach chairs and tent and boogie board! Unfortunately, my wife and I had to leave early unexpectedly, and Jeremy handled it very professionally. Great host!

We enjoyed our stay at Kal's. Great ocean and sunset views from the balcony. Easy to find, great location and lots of free parking. Within 5-10 min walk to downtown Kona where there are lots of eateries. Also within walking distance to a nearby beach. There is also a washer and dryer with the unit. It's awesome having clean clothes for our trip home.

Kerry and Justin were great at communicating any details prior to the stay. Property was stocked with plenty of supplies for a day at the beach or to prep and cook your own meals. Great location right by the shore with convenient nearby parking. Made it easy to catch the sunset in the evening or visit any of the nearby shops/restaurants/experiences.

Wonderful house and location for our vacation. So relaxing to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean. Dave was very helpful and responsive, in addition, they had a property manager that was equally responsive. Beautiful setting.

Marie was a wonderful host! Her place was clean, comfy and had everything we needed for a week stay. The location is perfect - close to shops and restaurants! 10/10 would stay here again if we ever find ourselves making a trip to the Big Island again!!

Rose's property was in the heart of Kona and in walking distance to everything, including quick access to the water. The property had everything we needed for our short stay in Kona and the included parking was very helpful. Despite being the main part of time, it was still nice and quiet when residing inside the home at night. Rose was very accommodating to our requests and was nice to interact with (through the AirBnB app).
