I would have loved to stay longer!

A great place to stay and centrally located. Great place for a break... but close enough to all that the Keweenaw has to offer.

The cabin was perfectly located for a the gatherings and celebrations for my nephew’s wedding. Appreciated all the little extra touches. Very well stocked with coffee and snacks. Also liked the little store very close within a 3 minute walk- with lots of options for take out meals.

We appreciated easily being able to easily communicate with Martha about any questions we had. House was well supplied with all we needed to make our stay hassle free. Very good the attention to detail on the little items that often get overlooked. Comfortable and very easy to feel at "home"

Jon and Pamela's home was perfect for our ski trip to Mt Bohemia. The accommodations were clean and comfortable making it an ideal place for our trip. I especially appreciate their responsiveness whenever we had questions. Great place to stay!

Very nice place as it was very clean and well kept. Was a great place to stay and I have already booked this location again… I recommend this place for anyone who wants to ride the trails as it’s just down the street. Gas station is close along with anything else that you may need.

If you’re looking for a rustic cabin feel, this stay is perfect! Beautiful wood work and neat rock flooring inside! Very accommodating if you have a dog! We went ATVing and this place has awesome parking for a trailer, near the ATV trail entrance.

Awesome spot to stay! The kitchen was ready for us to cook our own meals, they had tons of extra blankets, pillows, towels, etc, and even had some board games to play and Netflix running in the background. Easy check in with a keypad and they left the light on for us knowing we’d be rolling in late. Perfect spot to land for our snowboarding trip. Hosts were friendly and helpful and available when we had any questions. They made the process really easy for us. Would stay here again!

Beautiful historic home! Large kitchen, bedrooms and family room with large windows. The beds were very comfortable and Jill was super responsive as a host when we had questions.

I needed somewhere to stay near Calumet for an entire month, and this place was perfect for what we needed!! We had every amenity that we could have needed during our stay. The area surrounding the place was beautiful, and just a short drive from Lake Superior. Everything was excellent and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area!

Our family loved this place. We came up for a quick weekend trip with no real plans and fell in love with this place. It was in a great location to see many different sights. The views at the house alone are amazing. The beds are so comfortable and my kids loved being able to have bunks to themselves and full beds. It was a great place to hangout at night after adventuring all day. We hope to plan a future trip.

Our two nights were comfortable. The vintage cabin was small, nice for a couple like us that wanted to simply explore the area and enjoy seeing what “up northwest” U. P. living was all about. We enjoyed being so close to the lake and lighthouse.

What a wonderful place to get away and recharge! We have 3 kids and manage a business in Traverse City. That said we are always on the go. Staying at Little Betsy really help my partner and I focus on eachother and reconnect! Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, we had moments or clear skies and got to really enjoy the view from the cabin. We hiked Hungarian Falls which is only 30 minutes away and ate at Loading Zone ||. Food was wonderful and so where the people! 110% recommend! We are excited to make future plans to come back! Thank you for letting us stay!

Philip is an extremely friendly, kind and accommodating host. Everything was well communicated which made our arrival and check in stress free. We had a minor issue during our stay that was no fault of Philip’s and the issue was completely unexpected. Immediately upon notifying Philip he went above and beyond to correct the issue and accommodate us in any way possible to keep it from affecting our stay. We were so pleasantly surprised at his response and desire to help. Truly amazing and unheard of customer service in this day and age. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him! You can’t ask for a better host or a more lovely property. Everything was clean and comfortable. The setting is peaceful, cozy, and private. And the cabin and surrounding area is lovely and truly a little piece of heaven. Thank you, Philip, for a lovely weekend at North Shore Cottages. Hope to see you again soon.

Thank you Anjila, Cory and Tanya. This place was absolutely perfect for us, we celebrated our 39th anniversary and thought we’d try an air b&b (first time), our expectations were exceeded! Unbelievable view of the water, we are “rock hounds” so to see all the rock in front of us we were in heaven. The house (the Greenstone) was very cozy, extremely clean and supplied with everything! I was very impressed with all the attention to detail. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed. We will definitely return in the future with our little dog Daisy, Larry &Eileen from Clarkston mI.
