Loved this place, so close to the mountains. John was very helpful, and the cafe and supply shop was also nice. Good for campers and people looking for comfortable sleeping arrangements near Killarney on a budget. Definitely would stay again.

We loved staying in the shepherd’s hut and getting to explore Annascaul! The hut is beautifully designed and has a lot of thoughtful touches and amenities— we cooked a few times during our stay, and were very comfortable sleeping and using the nice shower. Áine and Micheál were incredibly warm and it was a pleasure to spend a little time with them and their family during our stay. Easy walking distance to Annascaul where you can eat, get groceries, have a pint or cup of coffee or tea, and go long walks on the river walk! Easy to get into Dingle town and other spots on the peninsula by car from Annascaul. We hope to be back very soon!

Perfect spot for the nature lovers. The pod was clean. Such a peaceful place to stay. Very recomended to stay here ! You will be at the base of hiking trails.

In einem Kutschenwagen zu übernachten ist nichts Alltägliches und es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir wurden von Lorna ganz herzlich empfangen. Sie hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt und war auch später jederzeit erreichbar. Der Aufenthaltsraum, die Küche und die sanitären Anlagen sind tadellos. Wer es also etwas abenteuerlicher mag, sollte sich eine Übernachtung im 'gipsy wagon' gönnen 😉

Wonderful little spot to rest your head if you are traveling. All the creature comforts of home, cozy, and well organized. We had a small problem with the WiFi, it was solved very quickly. Town is close by for good food! Very happy. The only negative thing is the amenities listed a washer and dryer, and while the washer worked fine, there wasn’t a dryer to be found, so we had to line dry, otherwise great experience.

Elaine was a WONDERFUL host! She allowed us to come in and be a part of her home. She had nice breakfast choices that we could have and she made us feel right at home. She was INCREDIBLY responsive! I had some questions and she was great to answer without making me feel bad about them. The home is in the country and is beautiful. It was a treat to be able to stay and enjoy her home!

Nucola’s place is truly the perfect place if you’re visiting Killarney! Far enough away from the busy tourist areas of town but still a very easy and short drive to city center and Killarney National Park. Nicola and her husband were very kind and welcoming; they made us feel right at home. The space was beautifully decorated and had everything we could have asked for! Our favorite part was drinking coffee and taking in the landscape and their family’s dairy cows grazing nearby! Thanks so much for having us!!

Very cute tiny house encampment! Loved the eco-friendly garden. It rained hard for half our stay and the two of us were very comfortably cloistered inside. Áine is very friendly and knows lots of good things about the area, like Minard Castle :)

My husband and I had a beautiful stay! The location is great, about a 20 min walk into Kenmare. Close enough to walk to bars, restaurants, etc but also far enough to have a private experience in nature. Sitting outside you hear the sheep/lambs and birds chirping and then you have a stunning view. The cabin is super clean and the host very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day.

A true gem!. Such a beautiful & tranquil hide away, impressively ran. Highly recommend. We will certainly be returning there.

Das urige, gemütliche Barn in der wundervollen Umgebung hat alles, was man braucht und noch vieles mehr. Vom Schreibplatz über das Klavier bis zur Yogamatte. Der schöne Ofen war ein so großes Plus, dass wir uns fast über den stürmischen Abend gefreut haben und Caitriona ist eine freundliche Gastgeberin, mit der wir eine schnelle, gute Kommunikation hatten. Die vielen Tipps und Leckereien waren das Sahnehäubchen. Zudem liegt die Unterkunft in einer bezaubernden Umgebung und wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

What an amazingly cozy gem of a place! Andrea really went out of her way to make the space as inviting as possible. I never wanted to leave! In fact, I sent my husband into town so I could stay back and cozy up by the fire with the wood beamed ceiling and brick wall providing the perfect setting. We had complete privacy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Honestly the cutest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Highly highly recommend!

My partner and my friends (4) really enjoyed the stay and it really had everything you need if you're doing the Wild Atlantic Way and need a stop. Make sure you know there is a BBQ outside with a table. Overall would highly recommend!

Amazing weekend! Such a cozy, warm home. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the house and bedding. The house had everything we needed and more. The space, while small and simple, has everything you need and is cleverly designed to make the most of its surroundings. Large windows let nature in at every angle — waking up to views of the river and surrounding greenery was such a treat. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and points of interest in the area. She even offered to drive us into town for dinner, which was above and beyond! If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-focused stay with easy access to Kenmare, this is the perfect spot. It’s a unique experience — cozy, serene, and full of charm. Highly recommend!

This was such a charming and cozy home! We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. We joked that it felt a bit like camping - it has all the essentials without being indulgent. For us, it was perfect and exactly what we needed after several travel-heavy days. The space is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need - tea, salt and pepper, a full kitchen. The bed was a bit firm for us, but my partner is also a giant, so that may have played a role. The host was very responsive and shared loads of great local suggestions. We’d absolutely stay here again!

As soon as you walk through the bower into the front yard here, you know that this is going to be an extra special stay. Walking up onto the verandah the house has a warm and welcoming feel - and wine and chocolate! So many lovely thoughtful touches throughout - jugs of fresh flowers, a fabulous kitchen with well stocked pantry - fresh garlic and bay leaves and every utensil you could ever need to cook up a storm if you want! There are really nice toys, books and board games for kids and a library for grown ups. The very special thing is the natural pool adjacent, fed by a beautiful stream that spills over and continues its way down through the trees. Such a beautiful place with lovely art works and little treasures here and there - a home away from home. The hosts are friendly and helpful and leave you your privacy to enjoy this very special place. An experience not to be missed - best ever stay!

What a special place to stay! The house has been furnished with great attention to detail and lots of lovely ideas. It's a real little estate, romantic with beautiful gardens and outdoor seating areas. You mustn't be afraid of loneliness. We were there as a couple and felt very comfortable. It is very spacious for two, but you don't feel lost. It is possible to stay here with several people, but you should be aware that the house has an open-plan layout. For us, it was perfect! The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is cosy! You can really sense that the hosts have furnished it for themselves and use it themselves. It feels like a real home. The bathroom with the shower is particularly worth mentioning. Very cool design! It was by far the best shower we had during our trip around Ireland! A place with character in the heart of the Irish countryside, where you feel completely at ease and can truly escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Rating: highly recommended!

Renate’s cabin is truly wonderful no matter the weather, and we had all of the weather. Whether it was misty, rainy or sunny you can’t help but feel comfortable and cozy in this place. Renate was also very welcoming and had great recommendations, our favourite was Gougane Barra national park which was really close by!

Wir kamen zum Häuschen, da wurden wir von den zwei Eseln begrüßt. Keine Frage, das ist unser Haus. So unglaublich liebevoll gemacht, so originell, so kuschelig. Wir haben uns so sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer es romantisch und besonders liebt, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Für uns hätte es nicht schöner sein können. Danke!

Wir haben unsere Tage im Häuschen von Ken und Alisa sehr genossen. Es ist sehr ruhig dort, man wohnt direkt in der Natur. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und konnten sehr schöne Plätze schnell erreichen. Ken und Alisa sind sympathische Gastgeber und waren immer für unsere Fragen und Anliegen ansprechbar. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft aus vollem Herzen.

Can't recommend the bothy highly enough. Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful place. The house has everything you need and comes with baked bread, jam and beautiful pottery. We will be back
