We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. It is a cool highland area at an altitude of 900 m, so you can enjoy the natural air conditioning in the summer and a comfortable stay in the warm rooms in the winter. [About the room] There are 2 Japanese-style rooms and 2 Western-style rooms where you can stay.There are other clean dining kitchens, spacious living spaces with veranda spaces, and two toilets and washrooms. The living space is also perfect for letting children play (with a baby gate). From the rim side, you can see the Akita Shinkansen Komachi running up close. Halcoya Hanare is a separate building from Halcoya, and is an owner-less, entire home rental. This is a small, newly built house that can accommodate up to 3 people. * Please note that Halcoya Hanare does not currently have WiFi.

This room can accommodate up to 5 people. One free parking space is available. There are many restaurants and tourist spots nearby, as well as Morioka Central Park, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. Free Wi-Fi is available during your stay. 　宿泊施設は山あいにある築36年の昔ながらのたたずまいを残している古い和風の一軒家です。和室8畳１間と10畳2間の広々としたスペースがあることから家族旅行あるいは親しい友人同士のグループ旅行に適した間取りです。もちろん、お一人様のご予約も承ります。予約された日には他のゲストは受け入れません。ただし、各お部屋の仕切りは襖だけなのでプライベートなお部屋としてはお使いになれません。300坪の敷地内に建てられた住宅のため、隣家とは離れているのでご近所に気兼ねなく滞在できます。暑い時期の夜には前庭でのバーベキューや花火などに興じることも可能です。もし、星に興味をお持ちなら晴れた夜には保有する光学機器で星空もご案内いたします。日中はドローンを使って庭先の上空から周辺の山々を空中散歩することも可能です。ここは都会では決して味わうことのない静かで自然豊かな環境と岩手県の遠野と共通する南部地方特有の古い伝統文化を今も色濃く残した地域です。なお、11月から翌年3月19日までの期間は冬季休業となります。
