Great place to stay for both business and pleasure. Cozy sitting area with good WiFi and FREE Netflix! The bathrooms were very clean with good water pressure - enjoyed the hot shower after a long shoot day :) Had travelled to Naivasha with the team for business but I will definitely stay there with my family in the future. Thank you Jacinta for being a great host.

The photos don't do this place much justice, it is much better in reality than it looks in the photos and very clean. We felt right at home. It's near Lake Naivasha, resorts, and restaurants. The house is beautifully furnished and with incredible owner and staff. Thank you for hosting Us. We will be back here again.

This place exceeded our expectations—it’s even more beautiful than in the pictures! The lake view is absolutely breathtaking, with hippos right in front of the house and plenty of wildlife in the surroundings. The staff was outstanding, and the chef prepared delicious meals for us every day. We highly recommend this place.

A great stay at a well-maintained property. Having the animals outside and the lakeshore a short walk away created a unique atmosphere and was a fantastic experience. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area as a go-to place to stay in Naivasha.

The house was spotless clean. Same as was described on the post. Only had a problem with the house access and leaving because of the Caretaker of the building. This was very well addressed latter by Brenda and the team and I am happy with the way it was handled. Would stay at the home again.

Makumba's place is clean and tastefully furnished...and quite spacious. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. It is in a quiet setting and very secure. They were very friendly and responsive to our requests. I highly recommend the place and it's full value for what you pay for.

I had one night stay at the place, i was apprehensive when i reached the place due to proximity to village but the place was very well maintained. It was well furnished with great aesthetics. It had all the required facilities one can imagine. Excellent value for money.

Winrose is an amazing and kind host. She was prompt in communicating and responding and made me feel at home. The space is all you need and is in close proximity to the city and the lake side

A lovely, peaceful setting. Great staff who quickly helped to sort out an issue with power. Excellent location for good restaurants, Hells gate National Park and Crescent Island.

The shower heating was the best,the mattress very comfortable..we needed time away from the busy Nairobi Noises and pollution..At Victoria gave us that and more,initially we’d planned to stay for just one night we fell in love with the hidden gem and automatically we added the second night..we will definitely recommend Olmakau lake Naivasha and perhaps come back again..5* to the well equipped and high standard kitchen

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

Can’t imagine a better place to stay in the Naivasha area. These cottages are private and located on beautiful grounds which are well maintained. The cottages themselves are spacious and warm with all the necessary amenities. This was such a peaceful place to get away to over the weekend and we can’t imagine a better experience!

Beautiful Cabin on a gorgeous farm line setting with giraffes, monkeys and zebras on the lake. Private and well furnished apartment that met all our needs. Susan was a lovely host and super helpful!

Ruth’s place is exactly how it is described, in a beautiful garden with plenty of flowers and fruit trees! Ruth is very nice and accommodating! Definitely worth every penny! Thanks

Absolutely stunning! I enjoyed my time at the cottage. It’s by the lake and during my stay we experienced a beautiful surprise visit from a family of warthogs and monkeys. Throughout the stay,we enjoyed evening bonfire and we were joined by hippo couple of the other side of the fence.

We loved our time at this house. The house is simple, but well-setup and designed. This is one of the few houses that seems to have screens on the windows so that you can leave the windows open to enjoy the breeze and not have to battle mosquitoes! We loved that you could walk down the driveway a couple hundred meters and be right at the lake and watch hippos and birds. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
