Our lovely 1920s Bach is a one-minute walk from the beach which is over 100kms long. With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Set just back from the edge of a cliff bordering the Whangarei Harbour you will find a private 1 bedroom cottage, fully equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom, surrounded by sea views and native bush. We have a new modern two bedroom home with amazing views out to The Poor Knights Islands and over looking Dolphin Bay.There are many beautiful bays and interesting bush walks all within 10 minutes travel of our property.The Tutukaka Marina is a 5 minute drive where there are resturants and local shops.

A stones throw from the waters edge and yet close to all necessary amenities. Ample parking. Easy access and close to town. A good selection of bird life to watch. Please Note: We charge an extra $10.00 per day for EV slow charging using a 10 amp plug. This is payable when this service is used.
