Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Apartment located on the third floor, without elevator, completely renovated in 2025, is located in a very central area, close to the boarding for the islands, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants. Organized and prepared like a hotel room. In the bathroom you will find towels and shower towels and the 160 x 200 cm double bed will be ready with clean sheets. In the evening after 6:00 pm the street becomes a "traffic-restricted zone" guaranteeing maximum tranquility and silence.

"... if they're not crazy, we don't want them...". We are located in a remote and quiet street of the Mombello di Laveno Hamlet, 3 km from the lake, but we overlook it from the hill with a beautiful view. The apartment is small but very cozy. As of April 1, 2023, there is a tourist tax. The cost is €1.50 (per night, per person) for a maximum of 7 days. Children under 14 are excluded.

High Panoramic View - Rooftop Apartment

Only a few minutes from Lake Maggiore is this attic apartment with its breathtaking lake view. It is ideally suited for two people, but also four people find their place. A car is required and parking is available. But the place can also be reached on foot with its bathing beaches, cafes and restaurants, the apartment is about 100 meters above the lake.
