Welcome to our cute little house in the heart of Stein am Rhein. Located on the main street of the old town you will be situated in the middle of the most beautiful part of the city. It will offer everything you, your friends and family member will need during your stay. Part of of the historic old town going back to the middle ages, this house is now a part of our families history for more than 500 years. In the backyard there is a bakery that was run over 5 generations by us.

The house is newly renovated and stylishly and high-quality furnished based on the model of Swedish country houses. Relax with the whole family or friends in our beautiful country house with large garden while we are traveling. The lake is in the immediate vicinity, its natural shore is a 2-minute walk away and invites you to swim. The romantic medieval town of Stein am Rhein can be reached on foot via an idyllic path along the lake. In the winter months, in addition to the underfloor heating, a large fireplace provides cozy warmth and atmosphere.

Sleeping in the straw on the Rollirain

Please read all the information carefully and view the photos so you can know what to expect. Please note the check in time from 3 pm-9 pm!! Attention!!! We are NOT connected to public transport!!!! Nearest train station is 35 - 40 minutes away. Sleeping in the straw is a very rustic, simple place to stay. Not appropriate for children under 3 years. Our guests have a bathroom with shower/WC/washbasin at their disposal.

This apartment is located above the wineyards of Nussbaumen, Thurgau in Switzerland. The apartment is modernised and furnitured with valuable old furniture dating back to the 18th and 19th century. Looking further downward the wineyards you will see the small lake of Nussbaumen, and further on, on clear days, you will see the the peaks of the alps from Säntis until the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau which are nearly 200 km away.
