Where you’ll be

Our apartment is called Tropicana 218 Macalister. This building is located at the heart of Georgetown Penang, and is a few minutes drive away from the UNESCO Heritage site. Plenty of local delicious food, tourist attraction, shopping malls are near to our apartment.
It takes only a minutes from our apartment to the famous KOMTAR, one of the most prominent landmarks in Penang. There is a Rainbow Skywalk at the rooftop of KOMTAR which offers a stunning view of Georgetown.

Street Art is aplenty in Penang, and a few of the most famous artworks were done by London-trained Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic. It is located at different areas around Georgetown, it's great if you are able to cycle around to check them out.

Other that visiting tourist attractions, it is definitely a must to try out the delicious food in Penang. Char Keow Teow, Laksa, Hok Kien Mee, and Chendol is a must, but there are also lots of hidden foods.

If you are a shopaholic, you definitely shouldn’t miss out on Gurney Paragon, Gurney Plaza and 1st Avenue. Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon is only around a 10 minute drive from our apartment, there are many brand outlets, along with many different food choices.
1st Avenue is a shopping mall located just beside KOMTAR, and is linked to Prangin Mall which also has many different shop lots and brand outlets. This mall was once the most famous shopping mall in Penang.

Of course, these are not the only attractions in Penang. ;)
