Beachfront vacation rentals in Honduras

Jennifer and Tommy were amazing host, arranged pick up at airport, greeted us when we arrived and provided numerous helpful suggestions. Loved sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee watching macaws and hummingbirds forage in nearby trees. Snorkeled every morning at turtle bay saw many species of fish, rays, lobsters. Loved taking the water taxi to West bay and West end. Highly recommend the fire show at Bannarama on Sunday it was amazing. So many great restaurants to choose from. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you again Jennifer and Tommy, looking forward to returning again someday.

Josh has basic accommodations but they are clean, walking distance to the ferry, restaurants and shops. It is a diver's haven so if you're into SCUBA, this is the place! Josh is a very nice man and made us feel completely welcome. Be aware Main Street, Utilia is a very busy place.

Husky Hideaway Apartments are a wonderful place to stay!! Caroline was extremely helpful before and during our stay with helping us organize activities and a driver. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and it was a GREAT location; close enough to walk into town for diving, shopping, and restaurants, but just far enough away that it was very quiet from the “main strip” hustle. We would definitely stay here again! We are not “resort people” and this was perfect and homey and allowed us to really have a comfortable place to come home to after diving and exploring!

Comfortable stay in La Ceiba. The shower is hot and the wifi is fast. Good for remote work. I didn’t expect to have such good accommodation in the city. The neighborhood is safe but different if you’re not used to the Caribbean. I ran around everywhere west of the main river and never had any issues. The place is about 10 minutes walking to the center of town which is not so bad, and you can book a rafting tour at Guacamayos in the center. They can put you in touch with local Pico Bonito guides too. The host Damian was very nice and gave me a ride from the bus station. btw fair price to the ferry from the accommodation is around 100-150 L, but you might be to go to walk toward the center to get a taxi/collectivo. Have fun

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at this exotic, tropical, fun, and beautiful place. The backyard was the ocean, and it was a really nice place to kayak/standup paddle board which they provided. Also in the backyard there is lots of shells and snorkeling opportunities. The rooms have really nice beds and bathrooms and had a homey feeling. The kitchen was really big and fully loaded with every kitchen supply you need. Me and my family would love to stay here again!

Very comfortable, we had a balcony that we could people watch on West end road. The kitchen was very modern even tho we didn’t use it. I will definitely stay there again. For the price it was money well spent

A wonderful adventure and the best accommodation we could find

One of the best vacations ever. We travel the Caribbean quite a bit and Roatan has the best beaches and reefs we have seen. Their location is the best being a short walk from Half Moon Bay. One if the most welcoming and laid back places on earth. Everyone is nice...how could you not be in this paradise. Jeff and Michele have everything one could want or need. The pool is very cool and relaxing after a day on the beach. The dock on the bight is a big bonus and great place to hang out. We will be back!

Bills place is beautiful and so well equipped. We had amazing coffee, every spice and kitchen utensil, towels. Cold cups- cooler- way more than expected. The views were incredible, great restaurants within walking distance- definitely no car needed. We will definitely be back- nice pool and so responsive- really wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our stay here and found Sandy Bay to be the perfect location for us. We rented a car and explored a lot of the island and didn’t spend a ton of time at the home except to cook breakfast and in the evenings. The location of the house is the real highlight. The private dock makes accessing spooky channel easier. We appreciated the communication by the hosts and their local recommendations.

Amazing place 3 minutes from the beach Merlin welcomed us and made sure everything was in place even arranged the TV for us. Gerson was very kind on the phone. The private pool is amazing. Definitely recommended for those who come for a few days. The center and restaurants are 10 minutes by taxi. We will definitely come back here

Playa Blanca is an absolutely beautiful place. The property is located in a corner / mini bay near Coyolito and a short walk from Playa Blanca. The view is amazing and you can breathe in a lot of peace and quiet. The house is in good condition, green areas perfectly maintained, and exquisite taste in architecture. The pool is also impeccable and Francois' service is excellent. I highly recommend this accommodation for those who want to spend a few days of total calm and relaxation on the south coast.

The house was beautiful, comfortable for our family, close to the beach and restaurants. We went to my son's wedding. I'm really grateful to have chosen their house. Lana helped us and recommended many places, Outdoor space was also wonderful and enjoyable, the pool was clean , we enjoy afternoon in the pool The house is well located at walking distance of all the action in West bay beach (4 min walk) ... we felt safe run Fosters West Bay Resort restaurant and bar was amazing we spend the day eating and drinking there at the beach Milton was amazing at the restaurant make us feel welcome ... We were happy on staying here and will certainly come back .

We loved our stay here! It was great to have the space of a condo but be able to use the amenities of the resort. They also offered us housekeeping services which was so great. Also had a full kitchen,fridge. The beach club was a 3 min walk and a great spot to hang out with food and drinks. Easy to get water taxis to west end to and from their private dock. We did lose water/power for a few hours. But they communicated well. But overall such a great spot. We will be back.

The accommodation matches the description, it is very close to the beach, swimming pools, and other amenities, it is safe to walk around regardless of the time. Lía was always attentive, and she was kind, she gave us her help when we needed it.

Jessica's house was nice and clean and we felt right at home. She has all the basics needed for basic cooking for your stay. The location was peaceful and was walking distance to many dive shops, restaurants and gift shops. perfect area if you do not have a rental car. would stay here again.

This is a perfect getaway place for family and private gatherings, beachfront, pool, outdoor showers for washing off sand, outdoor grill, shady and spacious grounds full of coconut trees, comfortable bedrooms, all with AC, practical kitchen with all of the essentials. Google map will throw you off, so follow signs to Honduras Shore Plantation and stick to main road which has no potholes. Very quiet area and caretaker lives nextdoor which is very helpful.

This house was AMAZING!! The perfect quiet location, incredibly clean, and felt very safe. The house was well stocked with all the amenities, had excellent AC and was meticulously maintained, we would absolutely stay again!

This place was clean and walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and mini market. Apart from a excellent property, the host was accomodating and very responsive. During our stay we experienced "Hurricane Sara", this property kept my family safe! I love it here. I'm definitely coming back!

The location was perfect- close to everything we wanted to do, yet peaceful and relaxing. But what truly made this stay exceptional was Estela and Maudy! They were beyond amazing- incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our trip special. Even before we arrive, Estela was extremely responsive, helping us plan our stay by setting up a ride from the airport and answering all our questions thoroughly. During our visit, they continued to go above and beyond. One of the most memorable moments was when Maudy cooked us a delicious, fresh tuna meal- with the tuna we caught that very day! It was such a personal and thoughtful touch that made us feel completely at home! Every detail, from their warm hospitality to the incredible food and ideal location, made this trip unforgettable. We would recommend this place to absolutely anyone!

The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos. The master bedroom is spacious and gorgeous, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The downstairs bedrooms are a bit darker, but our kids didn’t mind at all—they absolutely loved their space. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to snorkel right off the front of the house, which was an amazing experience. We also booked a snorkeling trip with Joe, who picked us up right from the house by boat and took us to swim with nurse sharks—an unforgettable adventure! The road leading to the house is unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there in a small SUV—just take it slow. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and Eldon’s grocery store is a convenient 15-minute drive. Dave, the property manager, was always nearby and super helpful whenever we needed anything.
