Vacation rentals with a patio in Hokandara

We had a nice stay with my family. The place is very comfortable stay and the host is quick to respond. The gym is excellent and there is a resident exercise physiologist on hand too. For a small fee they can also set up and help you follow a routing. This worked really well for my father, he was at the gym everyday. There is also a really nice view. The pool was kept very clean and we used it nearly everyday. The kitchen is fully equipped with excellent non-stick (healthy non-stick with no PIFA as I have at home) so we really liked this. There are a few excellent restaurants close by, great food, walking is possible but it really depends on you, but the roads to it may not be for everyone. But certainly excellent dining options. You can always order food to the apartment and it is very easy for delivery folks to find the place, so no issue there. Normally we stay in Colombo but this time we couldn't find a nice place, but this space turned out to be fantastic and served us well.

Very warm cordial and helpful host. Very convenient and secure location with a Mall close by which had a lot of options for variety of food. Availability of Walking trail , Swimming Pool and Gym facilities within the compound of the property was ideal.

Amazing Stay with Wonderful Hosts! My stay at Guari and Suhana’s place was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and comfortable. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Spent almost a month at this Airbnb,. Amazing place, the beach is just a few meters away and my family loved it. The apartment is well maintained and easily accessible. Very safe for families to stay. We just loved every minute of our stay. The host was very accomodative and responsive. I had an issue with the ACs, was fixed in almost no time. I loved Dinali’s place so much that I extended my stay. Dinali has equipped the unit with everything required for a long stay. The view is magical, apt is airy and perfectly appointed, location could not get any better, its walking distance to most things. Dinali is super helpful and responsive to any questions I had. This spot is truly a gem.

Nice 1-bed-room apartment, good homely feel (but also private as it has a separate entrance and the host doesn't intrude - but is also responsive and contactable if you need anything) and suitable for a solo traveller, couple, or even family with a young child. Nice bedroom, comfy living room space and kitchen (with a table that doubles duty as an extended food prep area and dining table). Only the bedroom has A/C (other spaces have fans) which might be an issue if it's a warm day and you plan to stay in, but would expect that most people who book a stay here will be out during the day anyway, so it's not really an issue. peaceful quiet neighbourhood but urban necessities are accessible within a kilometre which is quite nice.

A fantabulous stay that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and quality. Will definitely be returning. The fully-equipped open kitchen is a culinary dream – every appliance and utility you could imagine was right at your fingertips The overall cleanliness and organization were simply top-notch. As a bonus, the gym access was a major plus : the equipment was well-maintained. An Absolute Gem.

This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. So glad my friends and I found a home away from home in Ja-ela. Stayed 8 days here. Angela was an amazing host. Location wise, it’s a small town so everything is accessible. Only a 15 minute drive from airport. Supermarket & convenience stores just 10 min ride away/20min walk. However, since the area is residential it’s very quiet and peaceful, some Uber drivers are not familiar with it so they would call first to confirm the location. Get familiar with the area so you can give directions to them. Overall it was clean, especially the toilet and bedrooms which is most important for me. 4 of us shared 2 beds. The living room & dining area are bigger than in the photos! Wifi was fast. Best part of it was that the host stayed right next to the villa, so she was available for anything we needed like gas for the stove or other supplies we needed. Was also very easy to communicate with her by text for help or recommendations. Planning to come back here in my next trip to Ja-ela.

This is a newly built, beautiful and modern little place conveniently located very close to Homagama town. The surrounding is peaceful and private. The host was solid and very responsive. He was very attentive and flexible and tends to your needs. The house is comfortable and beautiful and fitted with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend this place!

Second time staying here coz it’s the best place in Colombo. Feels like home, fully equipped kitchen. No traffic noise and just peaceful, but still so close to everything 10mins walk away

Devinda's villa is very well kept, cosy and we felt right at home. It’s located in a peaceful suburban neighbourhood and is very close to supermarkets, shops and the Thalawathugoda town. We found Devinda's place to be very relaxing and peaceful. I fully recommend this place, it's ideal for a small family or group and Devinda is a very responsive and friendly host.

My family and I spent a few days at this stunning place. The property is larger and more beautiful than the pictures suggest. We were blown away! I was occupied with bird watching in the morning and afternoon. The view is amazing and the garden is beautiful. The place is perfectly located if you are looking for a peaceful place that feels remote in Colombo. You can get Tuks or taxis to get you to Galle Face or other parts of Colombo. If you are looking to stay in Malabe or Battaramulla - this is unbeatable. We enjoyed the proximity to my wife’s family. We wish we found this place earlier and will very happily recommend it to our friends and stay there again in the future. Thank you, Kaushi, for an unforgettable stay!

Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

we six stayed at this apartment for 10 days. It was amazing, clean, well furnished as well as good responsive host and caretaker(Mr.Thiago). there is no con except a non air-conditioned room which was not mentioned in description clearly. If I visit colombo in future then I'll prefer to stay here again.

As per the pics and Ramesha was a great host. Late check out was available which was really good. AC worked well and washing machine was fab. WiFi also fast and easy to connect to. Rooftop gym and pool also good.

The place is same like the photos and was extremely clean. Its very peaceful and has a beautiful garden. The washing machine and the dryer was very helpful as we had a lot of clothes to be washed everyday as we were in Colombo for tennis. Would definitely stay again. Горячая вода с перебоями, телевидение во время нашего пребывания работало только первый день, но оно и не нужно было, поэтому не обращались к хозяину. Хозяин всегда на связи, идет на встречу, потребовалось продлить проживание- без проблем продлили. Прямо рядом со входом- отличная кофейня с быстрым бесплатным интернетом. Жилье рекомендуем.

This was the BEST place we stayed at for the entire trip in Sri Lanka, even though other locations were pretty good too. What made it different is the level of attention everything was given. it did not feel like renting out bnb, it is a fully furnished apartment that feels like home. every single thing is well thought out, and nothing lacks. it is simply a piece of heaven and most beautiful. highly recommend to anyone and wish we could have stayed longer. The host family went out of their way to help us around too. They even let us check out later because the flights were in the evening and rode us to the airport. my friend's review was that: - Well furnished apartment, great and considerate host family who make you feel at home - small details are attended to - Value for money and a joy to live in ...to say the least! thank you so much Anuka, Nilan and Janani for giving us a home away from home. Wonderful Stay – Clean, Spacious, and Full of Amenities! We had an amazing stay on this beautiful property located in centre of colmbo . The space was immaculately clean and very spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The complex offers great amenities – we especially enjoyed the pool, gym, badminton, and table tennis facilities. There’s also ample car parking, which made things so convenient. There are several nice restaurants nearby, offering a variety of cuisines within walking or short driving distance. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful, making check-in smooth and answering all our questions quickly. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
