Hinterthal lies at the end of a valley and in winter there is a direct connection to the Hochkönig – ski swing with 33 lifts and 120 kilometers of slopes. Very suitable for skiers: 5 min. walk from the ski lift and private ski cellar in the house, from the bedroom view of the ski slope. The apartment can accommodate 4 people. During the summer the balcony is certainly also particularly beautiful.

We stayed here for a little over 2 weeks and absolutely loved it!! We felt right at home, the space was lovely and cosy, and we especially loved the kitchen and bathroom (with a bath)! A highlight was definitely the beautiful view of the mountains from the kitchen and living area, I could sit and look out the window for hours at the rain and shifting clouds. Annija, the co-host, was super friendly and welcoming from the first moment. She was proactive, helpful, very responsive to messages and a great communicator. Truly an amazing host! The apartment is also in a great location, close to the train station, supermarkets and shops. St Johann im Pongau was a great base for hiking and exploring the surrounding mountains, with hikes starting very close by. So grateful for such a wonderful and memorable stay here — we would love to be back!

Reinhard and Petra were very communicative and friendly hosts. There was nothing missing. They have given some types for the whole area and there is a book in the house where everything was described well. The chalet is fantastic. The mountain landscape invites you to relax. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The garden is perfectly maintained. The sauna is in great condition. The hot tub is very clean and perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening in front of the mountain panorama. The fact that dogs are welcome makes everything even better 🐾 We will certainly be back🫶🏽
