Schönberg is just a few kilometers away from the recreational area on the Erbeskopf. So this is exactly the right starting point for cycling tours, hikes, walks through the forests or along the Moselle. The oldest city in Germany - Trier, as well as the city of Luxembourg or Bernkasel - Kues, are also within easy reach by car to explore. In addition to a newly designed playground for children, Schönberg also offers three vending machines with various supplies (directly at the entrance to the village).

The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. Restaurants, a bakery, a butcher and supermarkets are quickly accessible from the apartment by car.
