Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. A swimming lake, a climbing forest, an amusement park, the fairy-tale town of Steinau and the former district town of Schlüchtern are in the immediate vicinity and complete the leisure activities.

Alte Färberei Runkel (up to 30 guests)

The Alte Färberei in Runkel is a self-catering guest house. It is rented to only one group at a time. Up to 30 people can stay in the house, 16 in beds and 14 in the mattress dormitory (mattresses available). The Alte Färberei is perfectly suited for family and friend gatherings as well as for seminars and corporate events, with a minimum of two nights. Hello, we look forward to having you at our farm! You'll be staying in a 1-room apartment in the outbuilding of the main house. Our farm is a 500 year old, restored Franconian farm (monument). Relax in this special and quiet home with its own kitchen and bathroom. Our dog Zahra will greet you happily, so it would be good if you like dogs and horses, because they also live here at the farm. A camper parking space is available if needed.
