Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - on the balcony with a view or in front of the blazing fire in the fireplace. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

I rent a room in the historic half-timbered house in Friedewald, about 12 km from the spa and festival town of Bad Hersfeld. In the immediate vicinity of the A4, the accommodation is still quietly located. In addition to the room with a double bed, there is a small bathroom and a mini-kitchen with 2 hotplates (no oven), a fridge (no freezer compartment), coffee maker, kettle and dishes. Outdoor seating is available.

A clearly paved pathway leads gently downward, bordered by a vibrant green hedge on one side. A stainless steel railing offers support along the pathway. The ground is made of uniform bricks, providing a stable surface for navigation.

We had a wonderful long weekend in the colorful house and its great outdoor area. Those who like peace and quiet and seclusion will get their money's worth. There is plenty of space inside and outside and the house itself is very well equipped. We felt super comfortable and will definitely return!

We had a great time in this beautiful and lovingly furnished half-timbered house. You feel right at home. The location in the middle of the old town is great, and with a suspension bridge, forest ball track and playgrounds, great activities with children are possible. Annouck and Benji were very nice and very accessible. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is located on the edge of a small village, from where you can start walks and hikes directly. One of the two horse farms of the family is within walking distance in 2 minutes, the other is in the village and is also within walking distance. For children, both the horse farm and the proximity to nature (forest and meadows) are very appealing, there is the possibility of petting horses and pony riding. The large apartment is super equipped with everything and for families with children (high chair, games, books, building blocks, baby stop for the bed) and has a sauna and a piano as highlights. I was there for three days with my daughter and three grandchildren and highly recommend this place: Very friendly owners, quiet rural environment, you immediately come down and find time and muse.
