From the moment I arrived in Plaza Vieja, I felt right at home. Mayelin was a gracious and caring host, ensuring that I had transportation to and from the airport and helping me arrange some city tours. Mayelin made a delicious breakfast every morning that got my day started off on the right foot! The location of this AirBNB is central to the exciting culture of Havana - there is live music all afternoon and evening, and plenty of restaurants to walk to. It's close to the Malecon, and almost any attraction you'd like to go to is within walking distance of Plaza Vieja. The apartment itself overlooks the Plaza, and my favorite part of the day was sitting on the balcony to enjoy the live music and lively events that occurred in the square. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms, and plenty of storage. The apartment is spotless, and very safe. The hosts made all the difference - I felt like I was visiting an old friend in their hometown. I wholeheartedly recommend Victor's place!!

My stay at Zunilda’s was great. I had nothing to complain about. The loft is beautiful! Just like the pictures. I love the views of Havana and how the terrace can be wide open. I loved that I had the option of fresh air or air conditioning. The restaurants I wanted to visit were not far away. And old Havana was about 8 mins away via taxi. She made my welcome so easy with accommodating a taxi for my arrival. Zunilda also provides a phone. Which was a life savor for my boyfriend and I. Zunilda’s sister, Malaena was amazing as well; she communicated with us, gave us pointers for food and helped us with exchanging money. She also accommodated for our taxi to leave. The two things I was worried about in Cuba was having a cell phone and exchanging money, and Zunilda and Malaena provided that for us, making that worry go away. Thank you so much for having us and we shall return.
