It sits as a peaceful traditional Japanese style home featuring a large kitchen and two traditional tatami rooms with futons as bedrooms for the guests to enjoy a true Japanese experience. Guests can wind-down and relax at the house after busy day. Please drive with caution as streets around the house are narrow.

心が温まる宮島の古民家

宮島の町家通りから一本通りを入ったところにある「ゲストハウス心」。 　玄関の暖簾をくぐると、京都の長屋の料亭を思い出すような竹壁で、踏み石で中庭に導かれていく粋な演出。中庭も白玉石とこけのバランスがきれいで、落ち着いた雰囲気に一役買っている。リビングからも中庭が見えるようにガラス戸を配してある。 　庭を介して宿泊者だけが泊まれる棟になっており、誰にも気兼ねすることはない。外から見ると普通の民家なのだが、一歩踏み入れると、別の雰囲気になり宿の魅力に繋がっている。聞けば、主人は昔から庭いじりが好きで、趣味も幅広い。ただ、冒頭のように最初は宿をはじめる気はなかったので、風呂の設備はないのだが、周辺の宿を外湯として利用できるので、大きな心配はない。1階がリビング、2階は二間続きの和室が寝室になっていて、6名までならゆっくりと滞在できる。 　中庭に「心」とこけの中に白い石で敷き詰めた文字がある。昔、庭師が遊び心で造ったもので、宿の名前の由来になっている。心を込めてもてなし、滞在する人に心を落ち着けて時間を過ごして欲しいと願っているという。

宮島島内にある、1棟貸しの古民家です。プライベートな空間で過ごせる宿泊施設です。入口の扉を開けると広い和モダンの土間玄関があり、大きい荷物も楽々置いて頂けます。1階はキッチンがあり、お料理も楽しむことができます。6人掛けのダイニングテーブルがあります。浴室・洗濯機・洗面台・トイレも1階にあります。浴槽はありませんが、シャワーは3つ有り、大人数で宿泊される場合は、同時に3人でシャワーが可能です♪2階は、ダブルベッドを4つ設置しております。予備で、シングルの敷布団を2つ敷いて頂けるよう準備しております。最大10名での宿泊が可能です！厳島神社を中心とする島全体が世界遺産に含まれており、歴史を感じる建築物が並ぶ宮島でくつろぎと安らぎの時間を感じていただけることと思っております。
