Mark had a gorgeous property, perfectly appointed and pristine. He was a superb host, very responsive and so helpful. The forested lot provides a peaceful and private location just a short hike to the Shenandoah River. The surrounding natural beauty and wildlife were the highlight of our stay. We stayed at this Airbnb for a bachelorette weekend with six adults, and it was absolutely beautiful—both inside and out. Three of us stayed upstairs, while the other three used the bunk beds, which were surprisingly comfortable and conveniently located near a full bathroom on the same floor. We were especially relieved to have a screened-in porch, which made it easy to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs. The house was thoughtfully stocked with essentials, including a charming coffee bar and plenty of towels. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing mountain getaway!

This was our second stay at Wildflower Lodge and it was just as lovely and welcoming as it was during our first trip. We followed restaurant and winery recommendations and they were spot on. Hiking in Shenandoah is always beautiful, and coming back to the homey cabin where we could relax around the fire with our dogs secure in the fenced yard was heavenly. We needed to get in touch with our host at one point and they were extremely responsive and helpful. The home is lovely, comfortable, and the attentiveness of the host just made everything that much more relaxing and enjoyable. We definitely plan to return in the future!

Beautiful place me and my boyfriend came here for his birthday we had the best time! Brandi had the space nice and clean when we got there. She is has excellent response time and is very friendly. The cabin itself was amazing the view was incredible! being able to go out and kayak was amazing. The perfect get away for you and your partner! we will definitely be back!

Timber Creek Lodge was a very comfortable setting for a romantic weekend getaway! Stocked with everything you'd need, and nestled in a private, wooded area.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay at Bearwood Cabin. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing, easy trip. The kids especially loved the sport court—it was a great way to burn off energy—and the hot tub was clean and perfect for winding down in the evenings. We appreciated having a grill ready to go with full propane, and the firepit was a hit for s’mores and mountain pies. The cabin was well-stocked with all the basics, which made settling in easy. The location next to Cacapon State Park was ideal. We enjoyed mountain biking, swimming, and horseback riding just a short drive away. There was also plenty of space on the property for our dogs to safely explore off leash, which was a nice bonus. Everything tech-related—from the WiFi to the TVs—worked just as expected, and the hosts, Eric and April, were quick to respond to any questions. Overall, a great spot for families looking for a mix of outdoor fun and downtime.

We loved this cozy cabin!! from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless and stylishly decorated. it was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The layout was perfect for our family of four... spacious, comfortable and welcoming. The location was ideal, tucked away in a peaceful area but still close to everything we wanted to explore. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings and waking up to the serene surroundings each morning. every detail, from the fresh crisp linens to the plentiful amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were fantastic! Matt was communicative, kind and clearly takes great pride and maintaining this property. We have stayed in many rentals and this one ranks as one of our favorites. If you're looking for the perfect blend of comfort, charm and convenience, this is the place. we're already talking about coming back!

The drive up into The Woods was beautiful(4x4 recommended 😄)& once we got into the community, we felt safe. When we walked into Cedar Loft we were welcomed by fresh baked cookies, snacks,& a sweet, hand written card.The cabin smelled like a cabin in the woods & was so cozy & warm. There was low music playing on the TV too which just all in all felt so warm & welcoming. I was with my mother, daughter, & niece-the girls slept in the loft which they absolutely loved. Everyone wanted to stay longer. Our purpose was to get away, relax& be in nature. That was definitely accomplished staying here. There were many throwback CD movies that brought me back to my childhood. We laughed& cried &really enjoyed that nostalgic touch. Everything was clean& comfortable, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, being out by the fire pit& swimming at the pool. The cabin was stocked with everything you might need. Thank you for such a memorable stay. The journal was so special. There were tears on the way out.

Lou's place is great! We were 5 people, 3 adults and 2 kids. The house had plenty of space for us to enjoy ourselves. The kids loved the game room and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The community was also lovely with two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. we really appreciated the guest passes that allowed us to enjoy the pools for both days we were there. Many thanks, Lou!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house offered so many things for us to do as a family. We had such a good time playing darts, pingpong, board games, and hanging out around the fire pit. The Woods is our favorite place to go because of all the amenities. Highly recommend!

The Cabin on the Run was fantastic. It was spotless, I think the beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in at an airbnb, my son (9 y/o) loved the toys upstairs, and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The woods surrounding were absolutely beautiful, which we enjoyed walking through during the day, and relaxing on the comfortable sofa in the evening.

It's a beautiful escape from the city, tucked away in the woods. very peaceful and Serene, there wasn't too much around but it's the perfect getaway.

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. THIS is a great house and property!! It’s a beautiful modern feeling cabin. And this place is super clean!!!! I can’t stress this enough. The bedrooms are so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the laundry area and all. Living room is very comfy with great seating. Outside on the back is a patio sofa, fun lighting and a swing. The front entry is very easy to get into. Great gravel driveway and just a few steps to the door. There is a great fire pit with a huge swing. It is private. It felt very safe. And the pool table room was so fun! We spent lots of time there. Plenty of towels, blankets, throws, etc. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back.

Perfect for a weekend getaway (or longer). Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay with all the amenities, this is the place.

We had a wonderful time! There were so many special touches around this beautiful home. The grounds around the house are beautiful and very private. Our dogs loved walking in the woods. Andrew and Amanda were wonderful to work with. We will definitely come back to this great property.

House was as described and comfortable. It is a peaceful area and our dogs loved having lots of yard to play and run, and patrol for deer. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch rain and shine. It would have been nice to have a Keurig coffee machine but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. Beds were all comfortable and house was clean. It was nice having a washer/dryer to use. The gas grill and hot tub were both a plus. Great place to visit when you want to bring the pups with you. Not a lot to do in the area but a visit to the Luray Caverns is worth it as well as a ride along Skyline Drive. For little ones, there is a playground behind the local elementary school as well as a nice one in Luray. Walmart, Food Lion, Dunkin, and other stores are conveniently located in Luray. Triple Crown BBQ was a hit for takeout and Chop House Bistro was excellent for dinner out. As is clearly noted in the home, ticks are plentiful so dogs should be checked regularly - we found a few on them daily.

Reagan's place was so charming and perfect for our getaway! Everything was exactly as described. I appreciated the secluded and cozy nature of the cabin, but also the proximity to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return on a future getaway.

Sean's place was beautiful and close to Berkley Springs but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. highly recommend this to anyone wanting a get away .
