The Peacock Perch is named after the resident peacocks family. The suite is connected to an occupied house by a locking breezeway. The perch is situated atop a hill looking out on beautiful Lake Rosa. We swim, fish and boat regularly because Rosa is a clear sand bottom lake! Awesome sunsets - Silver Sands is one of the few area lakes that is full and natural spring fed. Water is crystal clear and soft yes soft. 2 private decks, laundry room, and 2 carports. Two kayaks, Lake front swimming and fishing - come relax. 5 minute drive to groceries and gas. New fast WiFi , interior paint and metal roof. Pets are welcome but don’t we do charge a fee. We also charge a late checkout fee. Fireplace is not in service. RV pad with electric and water at 100 night option .

For some reason Airbnb has us listed on Redwater lake, however, we are on our own private lake next to it. Our cottage is set on a gorgeous spring fed private lake in the woods. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a romantic getaway or fun with your kids, this is the place to be! Kayak around the lake and watch the gorgeous sunsets, take a dip in the cool water, sit around a fire and gaze at the many stars in the sky, or simply just relax in the beautiful surroundings. ☀️

Wow! We absolutely loved spending the weekend at 'The Sweet Tea Cottage!' It was impeccably clean and organized! The view of the lake was fantastic from every room of the house! It had so many extra special little amenities that came in handy! The beds were very comfortable, the house was so nice & cool, & we had everything we needed to cook and grill out! We took the canoe out in the lake a few times and made a nice fire after sunset. We highly recommend the 'Sweet Tea Cottage!' We will be back the next time we are in the area! Natalie & Mike responded quickly and were very kind and helpful! It's the perfect place to chill on the lake.

Samantha’s place was wonderful, we enjoyed our weekend on her lake house thoroughly. Despite the rainy weather, we took advantage of the sitting room and were still able to enjoy the view comfortably; watching the sunset on the lake was a highlight! Location was just about 40 minutes from Gainesville, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting friends in the area.

We live in an RV fulltime and my husband had knee replacement surgery and needed a more accommodating place to recover for a couple of weeks that was located in close proximity of our residence in order for us to check up on our other pets and maintain our garden while we were away. This was perfect! The Klare Kottage was private, peaceful,clean and locatex in a nice neighborhood. It had a beautiful view of the lake that my husband could see right out the front windows while he recovered and provided fishing,kayaking or sunset/sunrise views for me to enjoy and keep entertained while he rested. Having a place to stay that our dog was able to be with us and was more safely accessible than our current residence was a HUGE relief and made an already stressful event more bearable and accelerated his post operative recovery progress exponentially. We will definately return if temporary accommodations are needed in the future while we are at base camp versus seasonal traveling. Many thanks!

Absolutely loved our stay! The private access to the lake was amazing. So friendly and made sure we had a great stay. It was my birthday when we arrived and I was welcomed with birthday balloons, which made me feel special! The lake is so pretty, clear, and full of fish. Perfect little get away for the family. Will definitely be returning.
