Plantation Cottage near Hawi

GalynaRating, 5 stars36 months ago
Me and my husband stayed at the cottage for 3 first night on the island. The house is located in a beautiful lush green plantation with many tropical plants. We were greeted with a freshly picked papaya from the tree on a plantation and a citrus fruit. Oh, the island has the tastiest papayas in the world. Its a pretty big cottage with all you might need being on a vacation. There were cute little geckos through the living room and the kitchen, but please do not worry they don't come close to you, just crawling on the walls. The host Hap is a nice sweet man with whom we enjoyed interacting. He suggested us the places to explore and was always available if we needed him.

Awhalecrossing Gazebo Tiki Hut

What a special experience! I was welcomed by Linda and the pups - couldn’t have asked for a better arrival. The views are stunning, the sunset 🌅 magical, and the stargazing some of the best I’ve seen. And the bed is extremely comfortable. Will be sure to come again!

House sit ( Kitty feed) /Whale watching/snorkeling

Beautiful oasis with a great beach to walk down to. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we loved that beach! It was so peaceful and the waves were often mellow. It is a bit of a drive into Kona, about 45 minutes. There is a lot to do near the house but to get to white sandy beaches you have to go about 1.25 hours away. The house was great. Clean and open. Neighbors are loud at times but mostly quiet. When they are loud though it is really loud. Overall lovely place and great value.

Illuminated Garden Studio

TreyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying at the Illuminated Studio was a phenomenal experience. I spent a week there and I loved every minute. It is off the grid with no WiFi and a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. The hosts do live on the property with their extremely well behaved, fun children as well as two other people, yet this still felt extremely private for me. The outdoor shower was awesome as was falling asleep listening to the nature sounds. This is in a more remote, local part of the island and the hosts will truly share their aloha with you and you will have an experience that is most memorable. Aloha.

Adventure Meets Aloha

JulieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Mia’s place was lovely! From the moment we walked in it felt: welcoming, calming, tidy, clean, organized and nicely designed. The living/dining room was both roomy and cozy. Also, very clear labeling of everything and very comfy beds with nice linens. My friend, her teenage son, and I each had our own rooms (2 bedroom place with a day bed in the living room). Lovely breezes created with screened windows throughout the house. Snacks and coffee for us in the kitchen. Would highly recommend!

*New* Cozy Tiny Home near Volcano

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Loved our tiny home experience. Andrew was very communicative and helpful. He gave great directions and local information. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. We arrived late - the home is a little tricky to get into in the dark as there are no lights and some big potholes. A good add on would be darker/thicker curtains. Would highly recommend!
