The best things about Alpha Lodge are its wonderful & welcoming atmosphere and easy going country hospitality. The close proximity to the lifts & the Madarao Kogan Hotel and its amazingly relaxing Onsen (hot spring bath), is just an easy 200m walk and the views are amazing. Alpha Lodge was built around 40 years ago so you would expect that it is a bit tired in appearance but we are transforming bit by bit. Chianti Chalet is situated a short 15min walk from the gondola at Tsugaike-Kogen Snow Resort at the end of a quiet street backing onto a stream and surrounded by forest and mountains. The chalet features 7 guest rooms and a large common area which is great to share stories with fellow guest over après-ski drinks and a meal.
