This is not for everyone! We offer a small and very private (heated) cabin that sits on a seasonal stream. There is no bathroom, plumbing, or electricity. There is an outhouse. It is not suitable for toddlers, as there is a stream with a steep rocky bank and a narrow bridge without a railing. Lake George (the actual lake) is 1/4 mile away as is a marina (2 closest are Castaway and Fishers). The village with public beaches (and bathhouse) is a 10 min drive. There is a hiking trail from the cabin.
“This place is a dream! It's a perfect getaway weekend for any one who wants to get out of the city or needs a break. It was amazing falling asleep to the sounds of the stream and going on a peaceful hike nearby. We would definitely stay again!”
Home on the water of Lake Luzerne has the perfect combination of peaceful tranquility and lively fun. Large home sleeps 10, ample living space, 3 decks, 1 dock, 1 swim dock. Canoe, 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks to cruise the lake. Public beach adjacent. Walk to town.
“Our family had a wonderful stay at the house. We were able to kayak right from the house! The fire pit was a nice place to end our day of kayaking and swimming at the little beach next door. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen is well equipped. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. I really liked having a washer and dryer right at the house.”
