“I loved this place! My boyfriend and I spent THE whole afternoon well into the night just watching the fire. This was a luxury that I don’t have at home. It was super peaceful by the lake. And her place is awesome!! We loved all the games, all the little notes and the snacks!!!!!! Thanks Terri! The popcorn you left us came especially handy last night . The bar was super cool and it has so much history. Thanks for having us -Thais and Nelson”
Enjoy a full sized apartment connected to an 18th century stone house. This private apartment is fully equipped with a full bath, kitchen, living/dining room and queen sized bed. We are 60 miles from the Lincoln Tunnel and 75 miles from Philadelphia. Nearby are excellent restaurants, brew pubs, train station, college, historical sites, lakes, rivers and places to hike. Skiing is 1/2 hour away in Mount Shawnee. The apartment also has its own space for parking next to a private entrance.
“My husband and I were in town for my best friend's wedding and found this lovely apartment within 15 minutes from the venue. Norma and Harry were super nice and allowed us to book with them well in advance to reserve their place for this event. We were very thankful. This apartment has a beautiful rustic touch with everything we could need for a weekend and was perfect. Even my make-up artist for the wedding complimented on it. Norma and Harry came over after we were settled to introduce themselves and show us how to work the pellet stove. Very lovely and kind people and such warm hospitality. Even welcomed us with some snacks and a note upon arrival. The area is very nice and quiet too. Perfect for sleeping in if you have time. We very much enjoyed our stay there and wish we could have stayed longer.”
The Outlook Room has a lovely view of Hackettstown from the third floor of a recently renovated Queen Anne Victorian one block from downtown Hackettstown. Walking distance to the restaurants, microbrews, Centenary College, David’s Country Inn, and NY train. Perfect for a guest traveling for work!!! This is the only full size bed in the house so it’s best for a person traveling solo or folks that are not super tall or need more room to spread out.
“We cannot speak highly enough of the hospitality that we received, especially in the circumstances. Judy Ann was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. If you are visiting Hackettstown, this is the place to stay.”
