Treehouse vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

This home is amazing! You feel like you are staying in a tree house! Way more beautiful than the pictures show! Peaceful yet close to everything too! 10/10!

Saskia is so kind and fun. I'm grateful for my time on her beautiful property. She was very accommodating when I decided to leave early, after seeing how much Nosara has changed. Her land is a haven, tucked away from the bustle in Guiones. So much natural beauty, and lots and lots of animals (dogs, horses, chickens). I would recommend a vehicle if you want to be involved in what's going on around town. I wasn't super comfortable cooking in the kitchen (not the cleanest and only teflon pans), but there's a blender and fridge for fruit, etc. I stayed in the treehouse room, which is so beautiful and open, with the comfiest hammock. Just note that the roosters crow in the trees for like an hour in the early morning (and often sporadically throughout the night). I would absolutely come back for a few days, just with different expectations (and maybe a bike) :)

La Casa Margarita was everything it was listed to be. It has an open layout with a creative floor plan. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, plans, cutlery, & storage containers, as well as blenders, toaster oven, and other cooking appliances. We had no trouble accessing the property, but 4-wheel drive would be advisable – both for here and for accessing some of the beach locations. Waze/Google get you close, but you will need to be shown the last turns the first time. The Paraiso grocery store next to the soccer field carries most of the basics you will need. Although we have been to CR about 10 times, this was our first time in the Guanacaste region. It was hot (90F+) and dry. Fortunately, there was quite a breeze and the heat never felt oppressive. Few bugs, and those that were there weren’t of the biting kind. Howler monkeys were easily visible from the decks almost every day & Turquoise-browed Motmot, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, & Streaked-backed Oriole were frequent visitors.

Quedamos muy contentos con los días de descanso. El lugar cumplió con todas las expectativas que teníamos. Ha sido el dinero mejor gastado en un Airbnb. Muchas gracias Ernesto y Catalina. Si desean unos días de paz y tranquilidad rodeados de naturaleza, se los recomiendo mucho.

Laura is very responsive and great at communication! It’s a little hard to find but the instruction is clear. Overall, it was an interesting experience, and we luckily saw birds on the porch. The only drawback is that, personally, my sleep was slightly affected by the shaking bed due the wind at night and lack of curtains. I must highlight that the house is well-designed and (almost) free of insects which is very impressive in the middle of a forest. Because in another hotel (not in the forest), we encountered ants climbing on our food in the room, which was very disgusting. I’d recommend it for an immersive rain forest experience!

The Sunset House is the perfect place to disconnect from the real world. The house architecture and the way it was built makes you feel part of the nature . Pictures doesn’t give to much credit of the real beauty of this place. It has everything to make you feel like home, plus more. Living in Miami I was looking for a place to disconnect from the stress and this place gave me everything I was looking for. From a stunning view , incredible location surrounding with everything you need ( Restaurants, Markets , Pharmacies, Main Attractions…..) it was a real disconnection for me. Also have to give a special credit to the host Evelyn . She’s awesome, thank you for making this trip a special one,thank you for making everything better an easier for me, thank you for your kindness and for welcoming in your house . We absolutely loved our stay here! It was exactly as pictured and just what we expected for a quiet and peaceful nature filled getaway! Choe was super responsive and helpful to anything we needed! Would definitely be back and recommend to anyone :)

The property is absolutely beautiful! The surroundings and the views are stunning. Lots of wildlife! The cabin and all of the common spaces are so well thought out. You can tell a lot of intention was put into every detail. Very good energy here and I felt very welcome. The hosts were very communicative and helpful! They had an event going on and family in town, but still took time to accommodate us. I was fortunate to do some treatments with Anne. She has such a calming presence and her spa is beyond! She has very unique, advanced offerings! Samantha was also super sweet and helpful and has a very good knowledge of Costa Rica and gave great recommendations. I will definitely return to this place and I would love to plan a retreat and come back with a group. Thank you for everything :)!

Perfect stay to experience wildlife! Edwin was extremely helpful and even helped to book some excursions for us. If we ever find ourselves in Monteverde again we will definitely be staying here!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce petit coin de paradis en nature! Une expérience à faire si vous voulez vivre la vie en jungle avec les singes, les oiseaux, etc. Un 4x4 est plus que nécessaire vu l’état des routes pour s’y rendre mais cela fait partie de l’expérience. Merci encore à Sebastian qui a toujours été disponible.

We loved our stay in the Playa Grande Treehouse. The house was beautifully designed, private, and the view was amazing. We loved exploring the nearby beaches, then coming home to sit on the deck to enjoy sights and sounds. Crista was an excellent host. Highly recommend. We hope to stay again.

Veronica was super responsive and the ppace was absolutely beautifully and secluded. Great place to experience a getaway with nature.

Thank you for hosting us! This was an unforgettable vacation before our little one arrives. The location is remote, with no TV, so expect to spend quality time together—just the way it should be! Despite that, it truly feels like a home away from home. The house is impeccably clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything you might need, from a garbage disposal to a salad spinner. There are no neighbors except for some playful monkeys! Plus, there are a few surprisingly great restaurants nearby—be sure to try the ceviche at Locos Cocos!
