Vacation rentals with beach access in Grues

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

Ein sehr schönes Apartment mit Blick auf die Hafeneinfahrt- zwischen dem Ketten- und dem Laternenturm gelegen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem schönen alten Haus aus weißem Kalkstein. Die Wohnung war durch viele Dachfenster gut zu belüften und die Schrägen machen die Wohnung sehr charmant. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Vielzahl von Restaurants, ein Strand ist in 5 Minuten Entfernung und die Innenstadt von La Rochelle ist ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist und haben sehr Vieles zu Fuß oder mit dem Leih-Fahrrad unternommen. Die Unterkunft ist auch vom Bahnhof aus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Logement idéalement situé, très bien équipé et parfaitement propre. La vue sur la mer est à couper le souffle ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci beaucoup.

Such a great place and location! It’s exactly as it’s listed and more! The concierge Isabelle, who greeted us was great! Very friendly, informative and kept in touch with us re an earlier arrival time if we wanted it, and clear arrangements for our departure day! 👍 The accommodation had everything we needed - was very comfortable, and so tidy and clean/spotless on our arrival. It is located in a lovely very peaceful residential area- pine cladded /sandy & just 5 mins walk to the beautiful beach, and not much further to centre of the village with bars/ restaurants & shops! (About 10 mins!) We hope to be back, thank you Valérie, and we highly recommend this great accommodation! Do give it a try, and book! You won’t be disappointed! Rob & Ann Hampshire/England.

La maison est absolument conforme à l’annonce. Tout le confort s’y trouve pour accueillir une famille ou des amis (matériels de cuisine, jeux et accessoires pour les enfants, barbecue et fumoir). Le terrain est magnifique, très bien entretenu par Cathy et son mari. De plus, Cathy a été très accueillante, à l’écoute, dans le partage, toujours prête à repondre à la moindre question avec le sourire et le maximum de précision. Et enfin un grand merci à elle pour l’après midi passée à retirer avec délicatesse les échardes de la main de notre petit Eden. Nous reviendrons pour sûr!

Très bon weekend à 4 le logement est très agréable et nous avons pu profiter de l'extérieur également très bien aménagé et très bien situé dans un écrin de nature sans aucun bruit autre que les petits oiseaux. Nathalie a été très réactive et de bons conseils. Je recommande vivement.

Une maison avec beaucoup de goût et de charme, vaste et très fonctionnelle. Proche de toutes les commodités : centre ville à 3 min avec de superbes boutiques et restaurants. Échanges très cordiaux et réactifs avec Kevin notre hôte. Je recommande les logements de Kevin , allez y les yeux fermés, juste envie d’y retourner très vite. Merci pour l’accueil Kevin. Quatre jours idylliques sur cette île que j aime de tout mon cœur , dans la maison de Céline , parfaite , calme , proche de tout ( marché , centre ville , pistes , plage ) et d un charme paisible . Une vraie parenthèse merveilleuse

Dit is de perfekte locatie (voor 2 personen) dichtbij de kust en op enkele kilometer La Rochelle. Het huis heeft een private kleine tuin, is zeer smaakvol ingericht en de keuken is uitgerust met goede keukentoestellen. Er staan twee fietsen ter beschikking, om trips in de omgeving te maken. Axel is een zeer attente gastheer, die altijd ter beschikking staat voor vragen of eventuele problemen. Een aanrader!

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille aux Sables d’Olonne, et cet appartement y a grandement contribué. La vue est tout simplement splendide. L’appartement est très bien situé, lumineux, propre, confortable et parfaitement équipé. Un immense merci à notre hôte, une dame d’une grande gentillesse, disponible et attentionnée. Nous avons également été touchés par la gentillesse et l’accueil chaleureux des Sablais, qui rendent cette ville encore plus agréable à découvrir. Nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés, et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Excellent séjour dans l'appartement d'Arnaud. Très bien accueillis par Fadia. L'emplacement est parfait pour aller sur la Rochelle en 10 minutes à pied par le bord de mer.

Bonjour, mes parents ont adorer le séjour, au calme, vraiment proche de la mer, aucun bruit la nuit ni la journée. ils ont aime tous ce qu'il ont fait et surtout allé a la plage a pied. Jean Michel et Christine ont répondu a leur demande très rapidement et efficacement. ils étaient heureux et sont revenu détendu apaisé de leur séjour. Que je pense qu'ils referont avec plaisir. je recommande vivement.

Superbe endroit avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan. C’est la deuxième fois que nous venons et nous comptons y retourner.

This apartment is in a great location with views over the harbour and the sea. It is clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We like that once there it is possible to leave your car in its parking space and walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. A lovely place for a calm and restful holiday.
