Velden am Wörhtersee has a lot to offer: shops, restaurants, terraces and a casino. Italy and Slovenia reachable in 30 minutes by car. You will never get bored.

Ski tours or snowshoe hikes along the snow-covered ski slopes or in the forest are also popular.

My name is Andreas and I live with my family in this house above Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia. We rent out the ground-floor apartment, which we lovingly maintain. We have renovated and expanded this house, which my great-aunt built in the 1960s, over the past two years to live here and continue to give guests the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place. In a tranquil, small village at the foot of the Karavanke Mountains lies the "Ferienwohnung am Bach" (vacation home by the stream). Bordered by extensive orchards and a small rushing stream, the newly renovated apartment invites you to relax in a quiet environment. Next to the fireplace/barbecue area, the three donkeys Leni, Alpina and Tamara graze. A few chickens and cats are also always on the go.
