Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Green Bay

It was such a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife to see walking through the back yard. It was the perfect location to catch the early Ferry to Washington Island.

Dan & Beth said they wanted us to feel at home and we certainly did! We had 7 adults in our group & we talked about the house & cost to stay there. We all agreed it was absolutely worth every cent. Dan couldn’t have been more helpful whenever we reached out with a question. Being right on the beach was magical. Fires at night with a plentiful supply of dry wood was a nice surprise! Anything you could possibly think of was at our disposal! Even the refrigerator was pristine, which in my experience, doesn’t always happen in a rental. We will miss Sandvik house!

Our family vacation was absolutely what we wanted on Washington Island, and especially at Essa's home! We wanted a quiet, relaxing place, and we definitely got that. We seriously felt like we were on a secluded island....didn't see one person until we drove to the other side of the island! If you are looking for a place to get away from the everyday hustle of life, Essa's place is where it's at. We got up in the mornings and had coffee and read on the 4 season's porch, sat on the beach, played games, watched movies, and had bonfires in the evening. The only bad thing....the week went to quickly!!!!

We stayed at Winding Down for our 25th anniversary. We've been coming to Door County for over 25 years, and we've stayed at some nice places. But this is easily the nicest we've encountered. The space is expansive, but still cozy, quiet, serene and inviting. It is also immaculate. We enjoyed the selections of artwork and the attention to detail throughout the house. At one point we needed James's help with the refrigerator, and he was quick to provide assistance. It was also really enjoyable chatting with him. If the place is available again during our anniversary week, we'd love to return.

Beautiful getaway! My fiancé and I had an amazing time. The hot tub, view, and fire made the experience unforgettable. They provided everything we needed firewood, a fire starter kit, seasonings, and more. 100% planning to come back next year. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

My family and I loved everything about this beautiful home. The spaces indoors and outside offer variety and comfort. The open kitchen allows conversations with people sitting at the spacious dining room table or hanging out in the living room. Sunlight floods every room and the beds are wonderful, eg soft linens, nice mattresses, choice of pillows and plenty of covers. And… there is an amazing game-room for people of every age! Everything was truly immaculate and inviting, including the circular fire-pit with Adirondack chairs and lots of wood. We appreciated the friendly welcome letter and the other special touches that made us feel right at home. It’s simply perfect.

This was by far the best airbnb stay I have ever had! The house was gorgeous, so well decorated and thoughtful. Had everything we needed from ample towels, amenities, kitchen supplies, bedding etc. The host was so helpful and gave great instructions! We truly did not need a thing during our stay but felt like if we did we would have gotten prompt quick responses. For a group of 5 girls that have been friends going on 20 years this was the most perfect stay for our girls trip. 10000/10 recommend.

Had a great stay here. Communication was smooth and easy the entire time. Everything was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. I was able to walk to restaurants, coffee, shops, and even some local gift stores. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in the area.

This is such a gem! We traveled with 2 young children and after a day at Road America it was EVERYTHING we needed. We didn’t get a chance to try to sauna or cold plunge, but the place felt just like home and was so convenient. We can wait to visit again!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

She provided clear instructions making our stay super simple. Whether we were relaxing inside or exploring the area, it was the perfect home base. This was our second stay at Ken and Rhonda’s. It is still as nice as we remembered. It was very clean- which is always appreciated. Our dogs loved laying outside and listening to the birds. Thank you for a peaceful place to stay up north!

This is a little piece of heaven. We will absolutely be returning to this peaceful, squeaky clean Airbnb. The location is perfect. It has all the necessities and just the right amount of amenities and everything one would need to stay home and relax. The location was perfect. You could walk or drive to the lake, restaurants, and more. Even though there are a lot of people in the condos, you could not hear anybody above or right next to us and it was memorial Day weekend Dad’s were comfy. Loved the coffee bar. Communication was top-notch. This was definitely one of our favorite Airbnb‘s and we have traveled in almost every state. Can’t wait to return.

Great Place. Great Location. Be sure to confirm the address before going. The address AirBnB provided took me down dirt roads in the middle of nowhere 15 miles from the actual camp ground. But once you arrive the staff are great and very helpful

Jamie was the perfect host. If we needed anything she was quick to get it to us. The house was beautiful. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly so we didnt get to enjoy the outside much. They do have a cat and dog and I guess I missed that when I rented it and unfortunately I am allergic to many dogs and cats so I had to take allergy. medication while I was there. All and all it was a great experience.

I would give both Kerry and her villa 10 stars if I could. Everything was outstanding and as-advertised. Kerry provided instructions for finding & accessing the house and a helpful and personalized guide to the local highlights well before our visit. She provided all of the information we needed promptly and we felt that she truly cared that we have a wonderful stay. The house is very well designed and Kerry has loaded it with all the amenities imaginable, from the basics to all the extras we could want while on a vacation at the lake. Everything was in great condition, well organized and of high quality. We could not have been more comfortable. Kerry's house is on a beautiful lot above and across the street from Lake Michigan. The grounds were in excellent condition and landscaped to provide a peaceful, pastoral and private setting. We enjoyed watching the Orioles and other birds flocking to the bird feeders off the upper deck. This was the perfect spot for our family celebration.

Great host!! Great location!! Great property!! We came in town for a golf trip and this property was a perfect location and comfortable. Nice to start each morning with a quick walk to the beach and watch the sun rise over the lake. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The best New Years Eve experience with Yana and Jim! They were incredibly responsive and welcoming. Anything we needed or any question we had was taken care of very quickly. Perfect Midwest hospitality. Will be coming back!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom condo right on the shores of Lake Michigan. The space was clean, well-appointed, and comfortably fit our group of 6–8. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and we loved being just steps away from the beach. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and fun for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making check-in and any questions along the way super easy. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable lakeside retreat!
