Cottage vacation rentals in Greater Toronto Area

We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

The home was super clean and had all the amenities we needed, and more! Location was fantastic and the host was super responsive and proactive in her communication! We would love to come back soon!!

We had a wonderful stay for a girls weekend! The indoor and outdoor space was lovely and comfortable. There was so much wild life visiting the outdoor space which made for exciting views! The lake was beautiful, and calm. Our only minor notes were the hottub as it wasn’t at the standards of clean we expected (sand in it and water was slightly murky) and the dock being covered in bird poop and dead fish. All in all, we greatly enjoyed the space and would love to come back for another girls weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The house was very comfortable for our family of 8 as we celebrated my parents’ 50th anniversary. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were very clean, and the space felt welcoming. The location was ideal — close to popular attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. The owner was a gracious and thoughtful host who genuinely cared about our comfort. We truly appreciated his kindness and responsiveness throughout our stay.

Loved this quaint little cottage right on the lake. The view from the desk made working a pleasure, and mornings spent outside with a coffee watching the birds were a highlight. Super cozy and well-equipped, with everything you need. The size is perfect for a couple or small family. Great location near Lakefield—peaceful and scenic.

Had a great time here. Beautiful space, immaculate, and was exactly as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and backyard, and the view of the river was fantastic. Great location, was minutes away from the beach and other shops. There’s a cute ice cream parlour right across the street as well which was great for the kids. Would highly recommend.

Penny’s place was great: every little detail has been thought through, instructions clear, host very responsive. The house and surrounding area were beautiful - clear lake; lots of outside sitting areas, bbqs, hot tub, fully furnished kitchen, etc. The house was spotless - very clean; lots of towels, robes, linens. Lastly, Penny was very accommodating and kind given that we had one older person in our group with limited mobility (the house is well equipped for accessibility - super rare for AirBnbs). Thank you, Penny!

If you’re doing a bachelorette, girls weekend, or you even just want to get away and enjoy wine country, come stay at Michael and Heiner’s place. Me and my party had an absolute blast. The house is clean, cozy, and just as advertised. The hosts give you clear instructions on how to use the hot tub, pool, and thermostat (and the hot tub was such a nice way to wind down and relax after our wine tour), and the house and property are just beautiful. The hosts are friendly and very communicative. Stay here on a warm weekend in June and guaranteed you’re going to be telling friends and fam to rent this air bnb.

Beautiful view and great location for shopping at the outlets or strolling the streets in any of the towns nearby. The Griffon Brewery & Gastropub in Lewiston had a gorgeous view and amazing food for dinner. The cottage was very cozy and had a great spot for a campfire! It was peaceful and the lake was so nice to look at.

We loved our little stay here. It's great for a relaxing long weekend. Lots of great places to eat and drink within driving distance. The views were amazing! Gorgeous water and was fun to see Toronto in the distance. We definitely underestimated the presence of the bugs. Krista does warn that they come out in the summer, but they were everywhere by the water. Definitely hampered our time spent outside but if you can ignore the bugs you'll be fine. Krista was a wonderful communicator and the place was spotless.

We had a wonderful winter getaway at Woodward by the Beach! The home was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with the essentials. We especially loved the fire! The host, Kevin, was extremely responsive and even took the time to provide us with recommendations for snow tubing, tobogganing, restaurants, and cafes. The home is in a great location and there are no shortage of activities, restaurants, and shops within short driving distance. We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thank you Kevin!

Great cottage for a getaway! Jason was very accommodating and responsive to all our questions. We came for a girl's weekend retreat and it suited our needs perfectly. Nice little sand beach that made it easy to get in and out of the water. Would recommend Bud's Place and will book again myself :)

Alam is an awesome host, very quick to respond. Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The views are amazing from the living room. The property is exactly as described. Very clean home with comfortable beds, fans in every bedroom (we love our fans) and a kitchen that has everything you need. The boat house is adorable and the sunsets are amazing! Close to QEW highway, Costco and many other stores. Alam is a awesome host, quick to respond. Highly recommend.

Great place near Olcott! Cottage was as photos show, very clean and well cared for. We didn’t use the hot tub so no comments on that aspect. Very short walk to Lake Ontario shore for gorgeous sunsets. Was wonderful that firewood was provided for fire pit, some coffee & coffee filters, and overall was just a very comfortable space for our weekend away! We will be back!

Great little beach house for our family of four and pup! The resort is quiet and very relaxing. The pool, beach and kayaks were a big hit with our kids. We appreciated the puzzles and boards games on our last day, when it rained.

it did have an odd smell when we first arrived and the floors were a little dirty from the guests before us I presume. But it didn’t matter to us too much the place was great. Loved how there was a fire pit and the little boat to bike on the water as well as canoes and it was so pretty. Worth the trip

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. What a wonderful place. It has tons of character. I watched the sunrise from my bed. Lots of bird activity on the bay which was so entertaining. It’s such a lovely spot I’m coming back in the fall.

We had a lovely stay at Navid’s place! The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities you could think to need. The property itself was beautiful, with a well maintained deck, and easy access to the water. Navid was a very responsive and kind host. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for a little over a week and it was amazing! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, even helped us find an easier way to get into the city. The house was extremely clean and very cozy. This house is the perfect place for relaxing, enjoying nature, and even going into the city for some more up-beat days. I couldn’t recommend this place and the hosts enough! Thank you!

Best place ever to start a honeymoon. We arrived around 11:30 pm and the cottage was unlocked and ready to go. Everything was cozy and homey. Jan gave us an amazing cheese and fruit board and Doug had fresh baked cookies for us. Peaceful location to unwind. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty but that’s probably the location (and helps force an unplug). The piano was a great extra touch!
