The first 10 minutes of our stay was just us walking around the house going “are you kidding me” between the view, the personal touches (down to the quirky cabinet handles!!), the record player/collection, having stuff for smores readily available for the fire pit, and the sunroom where my husband had to drag me out of the morning we left. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! We took a last minute Valentine’s Day/Birthday trip and it was everything we wanted. A little hard to find(lack of cell service), especially at night but Daria gave us great instructions on getting there. Definitely going to come back! Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect getaway—peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. The cabin had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from a well-equipped kitchen to a outdoor fire pit that made the nights extra relaxing. Ian was friendly and quick to respond to any questions, which made the experience even better. I especially loved the beautiful views, outdoor fire pit, hot tub, hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic retreat. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Kara is a wonderful host and it is clear she takes great pride in her property. The home itself is very nice and comfortable. As other reviews suggest, the house sits very close to 522 and gets a lot of road noise. There were more breaks in this on the weekends but very busy during the week especially during morning and early evening hours. The stream in the backyard is really cool and helps dampen the road noise as well. The house is very convenient to Cacapon State Park which is beautiful, peaceful and full of great hiking trails. As long as you don’t mind road noise where you are staying, this is a great place!

had a wonderful five nights at Richard's airbnb. it was the perfect getaway from the city and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. downtown had great little shops to explore as well as a variety of parks and trails. hope to visit again another year!
