Great chalet, very clean, good location. Super clear and detailed guidelines. We loved our weekend.

Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

It is a very nice house, quiet and close to services (15 minutes). The children were able to play outside, the fireplace was wonderful. The beds are comfortable, and the coffee on the front porch... a beautiful moment with the birds singing! Everything was perfect!🙂

Staying at this home was a truly memorable experience. The house dates back to the late 1800s, and that historic charm made our stay feel incredibly special. It’s beautifully preserved with thoughtful touches throughout, and the spacious layout—with plenty of rooms—made it both comfortable and welcoming. Me and my family had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The home was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. Waking up to the stunning view of Lake Chenin from the house was truly a highlight and made the experience even more special. The house was equipped with everything and anything you need and had all amenities .The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home away from home. would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and cozy gateway

We had a lovely three days at Daniel’s chalet. The place was brand new and super clean, and the queen bed was very comfortable. Despite using just a portion of the house, we still had enough areas for the two of us to work, nap, cook, and play board games (both indoors and on the patio). Lake Thomas is beautiful, but the only issue we had was putting the kayak into the lake - there were floods just before we arrived, so we would be knee deep in mud when entering the kayak. Swimming was much easier to do, as we jumped into deep water from the quay. When swimming be sure to try out the little green and white floaties - they’re so much fun! 🙂 At the time of our stay, the space between the chalet and the lake was rocky (there is no grassy areas) and unfinished (as per the photos), so we couldn’t sit by the lake except on the quay. We are feeling refreshed by the water and calmed by the quiet nature around the lake, and would surely return! Thanks, Daniel!

This chalet was everything, perfect for our little group. We were coming off a long work week full of turmoil and stress and this chalet was what we needed. It’s a perfect design that’s thought out so it doesn’t only look and feel like luxury, but also brings beautiful details around the house to make you more comfortable and the stay more enjoyable - the sound system, sauna and jacuzzi that are easily accessible and convenient, a lovely fully equipped kitchen with a view of the distant mountain and a cozy living room in a pristine layout and design. The owners were kind and thoughtful, always responsive and communicative. The home is capped off by their good hearts and human spirit. 10/10, 5 Stars, Lovely home, lovely people.

The place was great. Neat and clean. It was a very pleasant stay. The house is beautiful. Host was very nice. Make sure to book this for place for 2 days, 1 day is not enough.
