Hanok Charm | Mountain View | near Airport

J.MRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Minji was a highly communicative and considerate host, ensuring a smooth check in experience with her proactive messages on the day of arrival. The accommodation faces a small hill as shown in the photos, which provides a sense of privacy even when using the balcony. The surrounding neighborhood consists of local residences, making it a peaceful and quiet place to stay. There are local restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores within walking distance, and parking in the area was hassle free. One thing to note: while Minji did explain this in advance, the elevator does not reach the top floor, so guests with large suitcases may need to make a bit of extra effort. Also, the ceiling is sloped and relatively low in some areas, which could be slightly inconvenient for taller guests.

Comfy - 2 Bedrooms (Elevator) Hongik Station Exit9

RobRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The apartment was perfect for three adults. Roomy, very clean and well appointed. And there was a thriving, lively shopping and restaurant district steps from the unit. Plus, the green circle line subway, which we used every day, was less than 10 minutes by foot. The only downside is the area is a bit noisy at night because of all the young people out partying until the morning hours. Still, none of us had problems sleeping. Finally, the hosts were very responsive and kind. We would stay here again!

Fully renovated apartment near Deoksugung palace

DorisRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Wooheeโ€™s apartment was a great for my husband and I during our 4 day trip to Seoul. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet which was great to unwind after long days of site seeing and shopping. Also, lots of space and drawers for storage. Woohee & Erin were able to accommodate with self check in since our flight came in later in the evening. Again, they provided really clear instructions on how to access the apartment and videos on how to turn on the AC & fan since the remotes are all in Korean. Having the washer and dryer in the apartment was also a great feature. Apartment is walkable to a lot of nearby restaurants & metro stations. Several bus lines also stop in front of the building, including the airport limousine shuttle bus, so no lugging suitcases to and from train stations to the airport. Overall, amazing stay.

House with a pond #private house #private garden

YeongjinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
They gave me tea and nuts made of leaves, and I could feel the sincerity, as if the owner prepared it themselves. There was a space where I could enjoy the fire pit with the kids, and in the garden, we had a leisurely time playing with soap bubbles and chasing butterflies. The two-story house in the style of a hanok had a beautiful garden and a well-maintained pond, so it was good for taking pictures, and both the living room and the bathtub were spacious, so the kids could play as much as they wanted.

We had a wonderful stay at this truly unique and memorable home. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The space itself felt deeply rooted in Korean traditionโ€”full of character and cultural charm that you simply canโ€™t find anywhere else outside of Korea. It was a special experience we wonโ€™t forget. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something beyond the typical stay.

#NEW[Private Hanok] Live Tradition โ€“ Bukchon

SyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed at Doyoungโ€™s hanok in Bukchon Village for 10 days after two weeks of travel, hoping for a home-like atmosphere where we could cook and reset. While the hanok was beautiful and well-located, the kitchen was missing a few essentials and there were no instructions for how to use appliancesโ€”all of which were labeled in Korean. Once we reached out, Doyoung went above and beyond to make things right. He responded incredibly quickly, brought us pastries and flowers to brighten our stay, and even created a neatly designed instruction booklet with photosโ€”impeccably done and completed so fast, we honestly hope he didnโ€™t stay up all night making it! Bukchon Village is a wonderful areaโ€”central, walkable, and full of charm. And Doyoung is truly one of the kindest, most responsive hosts weโ€™ve ever had. Despite the initial hiccups, we left feeling incredibly well cared for. Thank you, Doyoung!
