We had an excellent time at this countryside house. The location was perfect to visit Porto, the beach and the countryside. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome. We would absolutely recommend this house!

Jorge's house is clean and spacious, comfortable, homely, has everything you need and is in an excellent location for experiencing hills, villages, nature walks, peace and quiet, and also good for a day trip to Porto. Jorge and family are very friendly and helpful hosts. Top quality linen and towels, a great deck, lovely garden, we really loved staying here!

The house is wonderful, the wonderful view, the pool , boat ride. The silence to rest and the kindness of the people of this paradise was too much. Thank you so much for these wonderful rest days in this piece of paradise. I hope to come back !

Beautiful little cottage with air conditioning. Wonderful, large garden with citrus trees and beautiful well-maintained pool, which we could use alone. Travel time to Porto city center about 30 min., good supermarket (Continente) 15 min. Beach on the river (recommended!) 5 min. by car, also within walking distance. Well-equipped kitchen. From some corners of the garden, view of the river. Check in independently, communication very nice.

As an architect, I was truly impressed by this peaceful and inspiring retreat nestled in nature. The house is thoughtfully designed, blending harmoniously with its surroundings. The large garden is not only a relaxing space but also showcases the host’s unique artistic creations, adding a personal and creative touch to the entire experience. Manuela was incredibly kind and welcoming. When we arrived, she gave us a detailed tour and made sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality made our stay even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking tranquility, creativity, and genuine warmth. A perfect stay in every way!

We stayed at this house for a week as a group of 10 people with kids and had a great experience! The house is spacious, comfortable, and fully-equipped. The setting with the view for the river, the farm full of veggies and fruit, and the pool was great. Our host was very kind, available, and made us feel welcome from the start. The atmosphere was peaceful, the surroundings beautiful, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A great choice for anyone looking for space, calm, and a warm, rural setting.

Just perfect 2 min walk from restaurants and shops, just stunning views. They let us check in early at no extra costs, it was magnificent. Thank and will stay again very soon. Thank you once again.

We really enjoyed staying in Sousas apartment. Nice and clean. Big bedroom and bathroom with a super nice shower. Everything was new and the elevator right into the apartment was a nice feature. We liked the neighbourhood with supercool restaurants close by and most sights in easy walking distance. Thank you for hosting us.

Abi and Regina are exceptional hosts who made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the tour of the animation museum by Abi which was fascinating The property is very lovely, the flower and vegetable gardens are incredible and the whole ambience is very relaxing. A perfect place to stay for several days. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning

Nunos home was just perfect for a week in Porto. We loved the patio and the architectural details. There is a supermarket and a nice bakery down the street. Nuno was so nice, helpful and just a perfect host. Thanks Nuno, we’ll come back :)

Ideal location for exploring and travelling round Porto, easily accessible from the Airport via the metro (approx 30 mins), the hosts could not do enough starting with a great introduction advising us of places of interest, they were prompt with answers to any questions we asked, the apartment was a lovely open space with ample natural light, the jacuzzi was very much taken advantage of, huge thanks to the team who made our stay seamless and stress free.

The communication with Marcos was straightforward. The location of the apartment is fantastic, highly recommended!

Very clean apartment right beside the most beautiful beach. We went off season and there was still a good choice of small cafes and bars open. Very accessible to Porto and Averio by train and also cheap. Five people return was only 22 euro and half an hour journey each way. Averio is also well worth checking out. Fernando was great but to be honest we didn't really need to contact him much as everything was pretty much set up to enjoy your stay. Only downside is the beach is too far to walk to the bigger supermarkets but Uber and Bolt are very good and also quite cheap. A few local smaller shops with most of the essentials, so not really an issue. Thank you for a lovely stay! Highly recommend

Great place to stay was clean and relaxing and the pool was great for the family. The host was very helpful and friendly, informed us of local restaurants and events in the area including a medieval festival that was taking place whilst we were there. Communication was easy, was more than happy to help. Thank you again!

We felt at home from the first minute and enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. The pool is a huge plus and enhances the accommodation! The amenities in the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. Clear recommendation!

Manu is an incredibly smiling, open-minded, and friendly person. Very helpful and kind. Extremely clean. Spacious beautiful home. Large bathroom and has everything you need. I'll be sure to come back to Manu. I recommend.

Renovated in 2015, the house has three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. It was a great place to stay for a week to view Porto and surroundings. Reception was extremely friendly, very warm. The house features a beautiful terrace, a (unheated) infinity pool with beautiful views over the valley and Duoro and features a (clean!) Weber BBQ. Lots of privacy to enjoy with your company outside. 15-20 Mbps internet sufficient to prepare you digitally for a day trip. Despite the fact that the fire alarm system was not completely stable, the owner has done everything possible to improve this during our stay. For a stay just outside Porto with peace and space, this is a great location.

Good place to explore Porto with Bolt or a rented car.

We stayed for four days at the residence of fransisco with a group of five young males. In advance of our arrival the contact with both fransisco and his wife went so smooth, they almost responded immediately. When we arrived at the residence we got an more than warm welcome, we were greeted by fransisco and his wife who gave us a tour and told us everything we wanted to know about the house and garden. Our stay was perfect, the pool was amazing and the temperature of the water was good, we played a lot of soccer in the garden or on the football pitch which could get a little warm when barefoot. Had a small inconvenience but we could solve this with the host almost immediately. In conclusion we had an excellent stay and loved the residence and would definitely recommend fransisco as a host and the residence as well!
