西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

A private 100-year-old renovated townhouse “yoinn,” the perfect base for exploring Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino. ・1.5 hours from Osaka ・1 hour to the UNESCO World Heritage site Koyasan ・30 minutes to Yoshino, famous for cherry blossoms and a hidden gem for autumn. This fully renovated centennial house blends the charm of a traditional kominka with modern comfort. Stay in Gojo, where you can feel the history of a 400-year-old Edo-period street, untouched by mass tourism.

Koyasan Pilgrimage route／villa

Japan's tiny home in Koyaguchi offers two guest rooms, ideal for up to 4 guests, with a minimum of one group per day. An extra fee applies from the second person. Accessible via JR station with a Japan Rail Pass, it features a kitchen for self-catering and indoor bicycle storage. It’s an 8-minute drive to Natural Onsen Yunosato and a 6-minute walk to Koyaguchinoyu public bathhouse. Directions to Yunosato and to Koyaguchinoyu are available in the guidebook.

After 10 years of welcoming travellers from around the world, I wanted a new challenge and created SANRO, a beautiful little hideaway for your stay. With years of experience welcoming and providing tours for travellers, you don't even need to do advanced research about Koyasan. "Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.

かしの木庵は近鉄橿原神宮前駅から徒歩3分という大変便利な立地にあります。 橿原神宮は、日本の始まりの地で、初代天皇の御陵や神社のある歴史的な町です。また緑の多い、自然豊かな所です。近隣には、日本の古代の姿がそのまま残っているような明日香があり、そこには多くの遺跡が点在しています。また、江戸時代の古い街並みが現存する今井町も見所です。 かしの木庵は、築６０年余りの純和風の家屋で、お庭も楽しんで頂けます。台所や浴室等は、リフォームされ気持ちよく過ごしていただけます。 近くには観光案内所、レストラン、居酒屋、スーパー、ドラッグストア、コンビニ、百円ショップ等もあり、大変便利です。 京都や大阪、奈良へも1時間程で着きますよ。
