A 0.6 mile from 24 hour grocery, 24 hour drugstore (CVS) and take-out food. The apartment has no television. A gentle place within the nation's capital.

Recently renovated two-room Garden Suite for you: Two blocks from Georgetown Hospital and Gtown University making it very convenient for short-term residencies, families visiting, & business travelers. The suite private entrance opens onto the back garden at our rowhouse in Burleith, a lovely and tranquil neighborhood. It is 3.5 blocks from Safeway, Starbucks, shops, restaurants; a 10-minute walk to M Street; 15-minute to Dupont; and a short cab ride to downtown. Small Pets Welcomed!

The Birth Place of Take Me Home, Country Roads

Historic basement apartment where “Take Me Home, Country Roads” was written by John Denver. It has the same 1970s charm. It is completely separated, has one bedroom, one bathroom, family room, big kitchen, washer/dryer, TV/Internet and AC/heating units in each room. If two guests need a second bed it must be requested for onetime fee $40. Parking permit is available upon request. No parties. No cleaning fees. Entrance is downstairs with narrow steps with a twist. No bikes!!

Covid-19 safe and separate entrance suite, with no shared utilities (radiator in winter and wall unit AC in summer). The space is bright and has windows facing East and South. The apartment has direct access to a private patio, where you can relax with a cup of coffee in the morning sun. The general atmosphere is cozy yet it has a contemporary feel thanks to its bamboo floors in the bedroom and modern tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. No smoking is allowed in the unit.

You likely won’t see or hear me unless you need something.
