Everything was better than we expected! We booked this house at the last minute because the community pool at our home was closed for repairs and we had 3 grandchildren visiting!. Our principal requirement was A POOL- but we got so much more! The home was easy to find, the communication with the host made entry quick and easy and the place was spotless and larger than we anticipated. The kids spent hours in the pool, we cooked and ate without hunting for the right utensils - we had everything we needed. This was the absolute perfect place! Great home, great amenities and a great host.

A small, yellow cottage is nestled among green grass and palm trees. The entrance is framed by a covered porch, with a single door flanked by two windows. Power lines are visible in the background, highlighting the quiet, natural surroundings.

Jose's communication was great, check in was super easy and the house was exactly as pictured. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

We really enjoyed our dry here. The outdoors area is very relaxing and the screen in lanai was perfect for staying away from the bugs. We even caught a couple fish off the dock! The sink in the kitchen wasn’t draining and Chris had a plumber out there to fix it within an out for us! This location is perfect for access to multiple boat ramp options and even great food close by or 15-20 minutes up the road. Parking for trucks and boat trailers is limited and we did have to get a little creative but we made it work! Look forward to going back.

This was very convenient stay for us. It's close to the lake launch. Plenty of good eats around to choose from as well. We would definitely use this location again when we return. I recommend :)

Lake/River house get-a-way !

Moore Haven IS old Florida. If you like to fish, then Moore Haven is THE place for you to visit. Being comfortable and safe while we travel is our highest priority, this rental did not disappoint. It's like staying at a relative's house, but they are not home. Everything you could possibly want or need is there for you. Mike was quick with delivery of pre-arrival instructions which answered any questions. We drove into the quiet neighborhood, easily finding the home. Friendly neighbors waved hello. The waters edge is literally right out the back. We watched boaters motor by all waiving hello as the sun started to set. We ran out of time to enjoy everything, because we were just staying for the weekend and there was so much going on in #MooreHaven with #ChaloNitkaFestival and the #ChaloNitkaParade. We would have loved to had a fire out by the waters edge in the great big fire pit, next time, we will be back!

This was a great destination while in the area for the local Sugar Festival. Michael is a fabulous host and was always quick to respond to any questions regarding our trip. The fishing off the dock was amazing and we caught multiple fish types while there. The location is extremely relaxing, quiet, and peaceful, yet you are not far from restaurants, grocery stores or bait shops. The accommodations were exactly what we were searching for, it's precisely a "home away from home". We genuinely felt like we were staying with family! We absolutely can not wait to return and would highly recommend this location!
