Vacation rentals with beach access in Gioiosa Marea

Concetta is an incredible host! The apartment is located right in the heart of Naxos, just a minute’s walk from the sea and close to all the restaurants and bars. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there’s even a washing machine. We stayed as a couple with a baby, and everything was perfect. Concetta helped us with everything we needed – she went above and beyond. The place was cleaned every two days, and even the sheets were replaced regularly. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back!

A week in paradise!!!! The house is charming and equipped with all the comforts, the breathtaking view, Mariagrazia and Carlo wonderful hosts, sweet and always available in all respects, I felt at home right away! The setting is dominated by tranquility and privacy, you can only hear the sound of the sea, the surrounding nature, the birds and the seagulls. A dream! The cove a few steps from the house and the beach reachable in a few minutes on foot, along a wonderful path immersed in Mediterranean vegetation, are the icing on the cake. What amazing sunrises, wonderful colors at sunset, and at night the sky turns into a carpet of stars. I can't forget the wonderful common area with the hammock among the olive trees, for regenerating relaxation in the shade facing the sea. A crystal-clear, clean, and limpid sea. Your eyes fill with wonder, as well as your heart! You won't want to leave!!!!

Graziella and Filippo’s unit was impeccable. Fully equipped and above expectations. Filippo greeted us personally upon our arrival and oriented us to the condo, which was very nice. He was also readily available throughout our trip. The condo is upscale and modern and gave us plenty of room to ourselves. The view from The living room and bedrooms of the Castello di Milazzo was beautiful and I will never forget it. The balcony is very large as pictured and we enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner while taking in the view. He equipped the living room with a high quality projector and watching movies there was like an experience at a movie theatre. We also rented a mid-sized SUV (by American standards) and it was able to fit in the assigned parking space without issue. The condo is located in a prime location, nearby shopping, bakeries, restaurants, the pier, the beach and the port. I would absolutely recommend his unit and will personally try to return in the future.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very clean, spacious, secure and quiet. It is easy to walk to cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bakery and waterfront. Having a washing machine was a bonus and it was easy to use. We enjoyed buying local products from the supermarket and cooking our own meals. Our hosts were also very helpful when our train was cancelled because of a strike. They helped us find a bus so that we could still continue our planned holiday.

The access to the accommodation was a bit surprising at the end of May as you have to drive through a small stream to get to the end of the road. The entrance to the free underground garage is also a bit bumpy and it is recommended to unload the car beforehand at the apartment if it does not have high tires. But once you arrive, the accommodation is really impeccable with a beautiful view of the sea. You can hear the sea rushing at night and can sleep with the window open without hesitation. You can also get to the beach directly from the apartment via a small staircase. The place was one of the cleanest I've ever experienced. The unfortunately often neglected mocha pot for making coffee was really clean. You can easily reach all public transport as well as small bakeries and shops on foot. Since you can use a free parking space, excursions by car are always easy. The place is really highly recommended.

Two couples, English and American, we stayed for 3 nights. The house, garden and terrace are spacious. The terrace is spectacular, overlooking Taormina with views up to Castelmola and across the sea to across to Calabria. Garage parking was included directly across the street. The walk into Taormina is easy. A neighborhood market is a 1-2 minute walk. Castelmola is worth a visit, as is taking the funivia cable car down to the beach. We were sorry our stay wasn't longer.

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

We had a lovely stay in the simply furnished Villa Soprana, beautiful views over the valley and Vulcano. When we needed Concetta she was at the door within 5 minutes, very helpful. In short, a recommendation!

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

Lorenza happened to be in Lipari city on our arrival by ferry and spontaneously transported part of our luggage by car to Canneto while we used the public bus to the neighboring village. The reception was friendly, on request she gave some tips for shopping and activities. The apartment is clean, bright, modern and tastefully decorated, terrace overlooking the sea, the long village street/promenade and the neighboring islands Panarea and Stromboli. Shopping, bistros and restaurants are within walking distance. Bus stop right in front of the house. Highly recommended!

As described. Quite spacious accommodation, the terrace offers a beautiful view and the environment is quiet. Good location to access the hikes of Nebrodi Park.

Barbara was an excellent host and we loved her home: we rented the entire home for our family (adult kids and partners, plus my husband and I) and it was perfect for everyone. The house has a fantastic view of Isola Bella, stairs to the beach are just few steps from the house, and there’s a parking lot just across the street (if you are driving be ready for very narrow streets ;) with cars, scooters and people all together). Barbara was super friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful from the moment I booked and even more when we arrived. She communicated constantly with me. I highly recommend her place to feel at home waking up to a gorgeous, peaceful view. And there’s lot to do in Taormina and the surroundings. Fantastic trip, we already miss it …

Two of us stayed in Pippo's studio for 3 full days. The host was always available to provide us with support and to introduce us to other useful contacts. Beachfront as described. We recommend renting a scooter either at the port or in Pecorini to enjoy the island to the fullest. Thanks again to Pippo for everything.

This neighborhood of old fishermen's houses is very nice and quiet. The house is comfortable and the small garden is very nice. Claudio is a host like you don't meet often, affable, attentive, who loves his region and just wants to help you discover and appreciate it.

We had a really lovely stay! The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace – perfect for breakfast or a relaxing evening drink. With the private access to the sea and the peaceful outdoor space, the place truly felt like an oasis. One downside was the noisy street, especially during weekend nights – something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to sound. We also really appreciated the free parking on the street – we were always able to find a spot nearby without any trouble. Salvatore was a great host: very friendly and helpful. His local tips were excellent – especially the restaurant recommendations, which were spot on! He also has a dog who is very friendly, though it did bark occasionally. All in all, a great place to stay that we would definitely recommend.

Great apartment with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Perfect beach location. Restaurants and supermarket very close. Maria is a great host, making you feel very welcome ready for your Sicilian adventure.

Alfio's apartment is very comfortable and has an extraordinary balcony-terrace. The ocean views from above and the possibility of watching the sun set every evening made our stay truly unparalleled. The apartment is impeccable: clean, tidy and very well kept. We especially appreciate the cleaning, personal hygiene and cooking products provided, which made everything much easier. It also has its own parking in a common area, a few steps from the apartment, which is very practical. Alfio is a fantastic host: friendly and respectful. Thank you for everything!

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

I was fortunate to stay in this amazing apartment for a second time. It's uniquely and exclusively decorated, and it's definitely my preferred place to stay when visiting this area. It offers quick and easy access to Taormina by train or bus, or even on foot. The hosts are the very best!

The hosts welcomed us very, very warmly and were always available for inquiries. The wonderful view of the "Strait of Messina" is a highlight. The spacious and very clean apartment has everything you could ask for. We were completely satisfied with our stay for 6 days. We'll gladly come back!
