The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Private country atmosphere in city located on 7 acres. Lots of large pine and oak trees, birds, and catch and release from onsite pond. Plenty of room for horse or boat trailers to park. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants and stores if your not in mood to cook. Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. This is an older single-wide trailer that has been almost completely redone by my husband and I. It has a washing station for your fish. Plenty of parking for your vehicles and boats. Access to skinning rack. It is lesson than 1 mile from Black Bayou boat launch. It is approximately a 7 minute drive to Red River boat launch and 24 minutes to Caddo Lake. It is 36-45 minutes from both Downtown Shreveport or Texarkana. Very quiet country home! Sleeps 4 comfortably ( 6 guests max)

Little House @ Linden: Dogs Welcome! Smoke-Free!

The tiny cottage is completely private with a dog-themed decor. Up to two dogs accepted; sorry no cats. This is a tobacco-free property and due to host allergies it is unsuitable for tobacco or marijuana users. The Little House can accommodate one or two adults, but is not suitable for children. It’s also not suitable for those who aren’t accustomed to picking up after themselves and mindful of the care taken to preserve precious vintage things for the enjoyment of others.
