House vacation rentals in Għarb

Wij hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad in het huis van Augustin. Het moment dat we binnenliepen voelden we ons thuis. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht. Heel persoonlijk met veel aandacht, maar niet overdreven. De keuken was goed uitgerust, de badkamers netjes en de bedden waren allemaal opgemaakt. De kamerindeling kwam voor ons ook perfect uit (vier kinderen waarvan een baby). De kinderen (en wij overigens ook) hebben zich heel goed vermaakt in het zwembad en samen genoten we van een borrel op het dakterras. Wij hebben het heel erg goed gehad hier! Ik zou het zeker aan iedereen aanraden. En dank Augustin voor het fijne contact.

Our expectations for Villa Bernadette were extremely high, and those expectations were thoroughly surpassed. Victor was extremely easy to deal with, providing timely and helpful instructions with a useful visit at the start of our trip. The area is quiet, not far from the beach and the views are stunning. As a big group, the privacy and space was excellent. Each room was spotless, with spacious communal areas that provided plenty of options. Especially good were the outside areas and the huge terrace and pool with all day sunshine and sweeping views. Overall - a fantastic stay at a brilliant price. I can't recommend Villa Bernadette enough, so much so that a second trip was discussed before the first ended!

We had a wonderful stay at Fifty-four Zero - the house is really unique and the view from the pool is breathtaking. Anton was proactive before and during our stay and very responsive when we had questions. Recommend hiring a car to get to restaurants and places of interest.

This is an excellent rustic villa in lovely village of Munxar, Gozo close to a small shop and a short scenic drive to Xlendi Bay with nice sea front restaurants. The home itself has an excellent host with large 4 double/twin bedrooms, nicely decorated and kept nice and clean with good comfy beds and all amenities, just a home from home. It has a private outdoor pool and nice sun beds although a bit cool for our Easter break in April. Rental car is a must for sightseeing and travelling around the island and Xlendi Bay and you can park just opposite the house. Malta as an island is more popular with tourists and therefore more busy but you can stay in Gozo in this lovely house for some peaceful time allowing warm sunny weather.

Diane's house was a lovely haven away from the crowds, but close enough to local food shops, bars and restaurants. The website pictures don't do this place justice as all the rooms were huge,with big high ceilings, and full of supises, like the spiral staircase leading up to the roof terrace, which provided views of Malta and the town's fireworks on our last night. We'd end our evenings up there for a coffee or beer before bed. We also loved having a pool,as it was generally hot and we could easily cool off,as and when we wanted to. Diane is a fantastically responsive host,giving tips on local places to eat,fun things to do and local travel advice. Top tip, you won't need to hire a car here as local transport is well priced and reliable. we also used Uber and Bolt,which were reasonably priced. This was our first holiday in Gozo/Malta, and we'll definitely be back

We had a very nice stay at Victor’s farmhouse in Xhagra. The location must be one of the closest to Ramla Bay that are available as vacation rentals. The beach can even be reached by a nice walk (when it’s not too hot). The shortest drive to the neighboring village Nadur actually passes through Ramla Bay. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, has all that’s needed for a family or group vacation, has a nice pool and BBQ, and last but not least you can see the Mediterranean from the house. One potential issue for guests who are sensitive to noise from neighbors (or worries about own noise), while the walls are thick, they are not sound proof, so we could hear some noise from the neighbors at times. Overall a very respectful and quiet neighborhood, however. Victor was a great host and always available with friendly support when needed (like asking for extra sheets etc.)

We loved our stay! The villa is beautiful and the island is very peaceful. We especially enjoyed the pool and the barbecue! We thought it may be useful to note that the air con system in the villa needs coins to run, so it was useful having cash. It’s a pretty walk to the beach, a short walk away from a square of restaurants/bars and the Church, and a short Uber ride to the ferry port. Spent 4 weeks in Michelle’s wonderful house, from start to finish it was so much more than we expected. We loved the area, great local small grocery shops, butchers and greengrocer, fresh produce available. You’ll be in a residential area and the beautiful streets resound with the maltese people living their lives. St philips church is beautiful a couple of minutes away , there is a service 9.30 sunday mornings, i was made very welcome. Shops and Bus bus stop 3 minutes away with regular cheap buses to Valletta, 2 euros each , change at Valletta bus terminal where you can then hop on to a bus to anywhere else on Malta, using the same ticket if it’s within a 2 hour period. Bolt and uber are reliable. The house itself is a bit of a challenge with many levels and stairs. If you organise your day you can cook either in downstairs kitchen or on 2 ring hob on roof terrace, there’s also a fridge. Just make sure you have all that’s needed upstairs . The views over harbour are stunning

We loved our stay at strawberry Field farm house! Elias was incredibly welcoming and the house was beautiful. It was spotless tastefully decorated and a very relaxing place to stay. The rooftop Terrace was also beautiful - stunning views to sit out and enjoy the hot tub. We would definitely recommend it and would love to go back. We also highly recommend Bottega Frawli restaurant.

Perfect location to explore Gozo. Gallarija house was a wonderful experience - staying in the old town of Victoria in an original home and few steps away from St George square with cafes, restaurants and street markets. Maria provided lots of information on what and how to explore Gozo. We bought a bus pass as recommended and found this was the best way to get around. We met so many friendly and helpful Gozians and this made our trip so memorable.

View was amazing and owner was very responsive, as well as this the check in process was very easy and home was beautiful as described.

The place was amazing and had such relaxing vibes about it. Communication with Jade was fast and she acted immediately- very on top of things and everything was so easily dealt with, including checking in and out. Views were spectacular and the rooms were gorgeous. We even got a visit from a very friendly stray cat who came to the front door, which was perfect being absolute animal lovers ourselves. Honestly, exactly what was needed to soothe the soul and take a quick break from life. I honestly suggest sitting on one of the dining chairs and looking outside through the patio doors, book in one hand and wine glass in the other to feel like you're in one of those chill movies- helps you remember that when you take a break from life, you can actually breath. Well-worth it and only wish we could have stayed longer! Will be keeping the place in mind for next time!

We stayed at Dana’s home for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house has everything you need for a couple but the selling point would be the little terrace, here is where we spent most of our nights under the peaceful Gozo sky. Dana provided amazing information about the surrounding area, recommendations and hidden gems. We would 100% return in a heart beat :)

In the peaceful hamlet of Birbuba in the north-westernmost corner of the island, the house is a few steps from the countryside, full of birds and wildflowers, and the roof terrace (not included in the photos) gives 360° views, including Sicily, sea & stars. With three storeys, the house is typical of the local style, with Grandmotherly country décor (lots of knick-knacks, but not cluttered). It's spacious for a 2-bed house, and the high ceilings, archways, balustrades and wide staircase give it a sense of grandeur - it has three balconies on the second floor, complete with the occasional lizard. OK kitchen has just the basics. The pool gets the afternoon sun and wasn't too cold for a dip at Easter - our 7yo daughter spent a lot of time in there. It's easy to strike out into the countryside, with a couple of nice loops, and there's a lot to do just in this corner of the island. Għarb is a 10-minute walk (with restaurants and a few shops) and Victoria is less than 10 minutes by car.

An amazing location in a quiet area in Gozo. The amenities were wonderful especially the entertainment areas like cinema room and the poolside area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place.

Very well appointed property in a fabulous location. Sorry to be going home. Would highly recommend.

Das Haus lag sehr ruhig und war privat. Der Pool ist riesig und bei diesem Wetter ein absoluter Segen. Er war blitzsauber und es war toll, sich nach einem Ausflug darin abzukühlen. Die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern waren super. Ich kann nichts zur Küchenausstattung sagen, da wir in der Unterkunft nur gefrühstückt haben. Annette hat sogar passende Stecker für die Steckdosen in der Unterkunft. Sie hat auf alle Fragen stets sehr schnell reagiert und war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft war sauber.

My wife and I spent close to three weeks in Martin‘s place and we loved every minute. First, the view was outstanding. We never tired of watching the harbour activities and the ancient city of Birgu. Second, the studio apartment was thoughtfully designed and thoroughly provisioned. We absolutely had everything that we needed for a long stay. Third, the location would be hard to beat. We were just around the corner from the Saluting Batteries, restaurants, various historical sites, and grocery stores and pharmacies. Fourth, despite being so well located, the apartment was extremely quiet. As a result, we slept soundly every night. Bottom line: we were extremely delighted with Martin’s place.

The villa was perfect for our family of 10 adults, 3 children, and 1 baby. My 6 year old granddaughter described the outdoor pool as magical. The heated indoor pool was an added bonus and perfect for the younger children. The villa lived up to our expectations, and our host Natasha was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or requests. The villa was within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. Parking was available outside the property, and taxis if needed were available. Buses were also easy to use if you wanted to explore other areas on the island.

Dom jest fantastycznym wyborem podczas wakacji na Gozo. Jest świetnie wyposażony i posiada wiele udogodnień, takich jak teren zewnętrzny na wyłączność z basenem, leżakami, grillem. Świetna opcja podczas podróżowania większa grupa, również dla rodzin z dziećmi. Byliśmy zachwyceni pobytem. Instrukcje o zameldowaniu od właścicieli były czytelne i nie mieliśmy żadnych wątpliwości jak trafić i jak się zameldować, wszystko w bardzo miłej atmosferze. Jeśli kiedyś wybierzemy się jeszcze na Gozo to na pewno będziemy celować w to samo zakwaterowanie. Z całego serca polecam! :)

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf! Vanop het terras aan het zwembad heb je een prachtig zicht. Er waren genoeg zeepjes, handdoeken en keukengerief. Alles was ook heel proper. Zeker een aanrader!
