Our home is partially run on solar power and the gardens and swimming pool are fed with collected rainwater. Between dips in the pool and swims at the nearby beach, take a meditative walk among the 40+ coconut trees, tropical flowers, & endless plants. Sanjarah Cottage is a delight. It is a wonderfully designed space set in a lush garden , with two en-suite double bedrooms, a gorgeous swimming pool and a long veranda with dreamy day beds. The open plan living room and very well equipped kitchen, offers a great place to chill and the cottage is fully staffed. It’s an easy 20 min walk to the beach and a few minutes to the creek. Really enjoyed my stay. Gianni was very clear in his instructions and everything was set up just as we had asked for. Kashuru, the groundskeeper, is a great guy and very friendly. I also recommend you use Morris the Chef. An extra 1500 Kshs/day but his food is delicious and you can easily get groceries.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibambe Villa, one of the nicest properties on the Kenyan coast. We were with two families and 4 children. Kids friendly pool, with easy and direct access to the best stretch of beach in Watamu. The house is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Elias and the team were very helpful. Food was amazing. Would wholeheartedly recommend Ibambe to anyone!

Luisa is an amazing host - allowed us to check in early and check out late. Pascal is also great, very welcoming and made a really nice fish curry for us the first night.
