Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Gazi, Athens

Could not recommend this place more. Old charm with modern amenities, very quiet neighbourhood and easily walkable to all major sites. Christos is extremely kind and greeted us the first day. A great person to converse with. Book this place for Athens.

The ceilings, natural light, beautiful craftsmanship of the wood, REAL ART! We have travelled extensively and enjoyed some beautiful Airbnb experiences. Christos space has moved to #1 on our list. My doctor, his parents were born in Greece, advised I should limit our time in Athens to 2 or 3 days. We are so glad we didn’t. Christos created a book, which I was hoping to buy but he gave us, that is BRILLIANT. The book is a pictorial and informational guide to Athens and Greece. Which he told me he could reproduce quite easily. If you stay at his space you will understand my surprise. Everything you need is a few minutes walk away. We came to Greece because of the history and the islands. We fell in love with Greece, the kindness of its people and generosity of spirit. Christos and his place may be the best of it.

Fabulous place to stay in Athens. Perfect location and gorgeous apartments. We had all 3 for our grown family. Couldn't have asked for more! 100% recommend.

This place was amazing! Self check-in & check out were seamless, and the host provided very clear and easy instructions. The host also set us up with a driver from the ferry port and to the airport for our travel days, which was very convenient for a big group of us. The rooms and the whole place were beautiful and even better than the photos! We only stayed for one night, it was a group of 9 of us, and it was so spacious. We would have loved to stay longer just because of the place! A lot of markets and cafes are a walk away, and taxis (ubers) are super easy to get if you want to go to other areas. The host was extremely responsive and helped when the AC units went out for a couple of minutes, helping and fixing the issue right away. Everything was amazing and we wish we were able to stay longer!!

Great host, great location, wonderful neighborhood, recommended. Stayed there with my family. Lovely walls to the City Centre, great bakeries for morning breakfast nearby, amazing garden, fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Metro at 600 meters. Host communicates almost instantly. !

logement magnifique, extrêmement bien placé, mention spéciale pour le bain qui est un énorme plus. l'hôte est une super personne qui nous a guidé dans le choix de nos activités, puis nous a facilité l'accès pour un taxi lors de notre départ. je recommande a 100% !

Appartement parfait pour passer quelques jours à Athènes. Confortable, calme et centré. Costas nous donne PLEIN d‘informations sur ce qui est possible de faire et est très réactif et précis dans sa façon de communiquer. Jolie attention: des fruits frais me sont offert à l’arrivée! Si je reviens à Athènes, je dormirai ici!

Von A bis Z waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen, hell, sehr schön eingerichtet & man hat eine wunderbare Sicht auf die Akropolis. Ringsrum gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants & Cafés :) Die Kommunikation mit Konstantinos war sehr angenehm & wir haben stets zeitnah eine Antwort erhalten. Wieder in Athen würde ich die gleiche Unterkunft buchen.

Had a nice time. Perfect for my stay. - Flat was clean and quiet. Plenty of space. - Good shower. - Comfy bed. - Coffee machine. - Little balcony and table/chairs. - Not to hot or cold. - Close to Metro, which was a direct line from the airport. - Not the prettiest area and no view from the flat, but I didn’t mind. - Felt very safe. - Supermarket at the end of the road and a lovely bakery at RIZOS, B., - E. RIZOU, O.E.! (Bakery across the road, also, but I didn’t try that one) Less than 10minutes walk to restaurants and bars by the Metro station yet no noise from those. The flat is in a peaceful area. - I walked to Ancient Agora in about 20 minutes, which was great!

Lovely little flat in a non-touristy area and yet just a short walk away from all the sightseeing hot spots and a few minutes’ walk to the metro. As a local neighbourhood the area does look a bit rough in places but seemed quite trendy with loads of quirky and lovely little bars and restaurants. The flat itself is ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. Super comfortable bed and was spotless when I arrived. The small kitchen is probably not made to prepare a Michelin star three course meal but is more than adequate to get your breakfast fix or cook a light dinner. The roof terrace is awesome to eat, chill or read a book with view of the Akropolis. Check-in was smooth and communication with Harry and Petros super easy. Can definitively recommend this place.

The apartment is nicely located close to the nightlife and entertainment area of the center of Athens, within walking distance of bus stops and the metro station while being just the right distance for a quiet stay. As stated in other reviews it is clean, spacious, comfortable and the balcony is almost as big as the interior. Finally Markos was a very responsive, kind and easy to deal with host, eager to help. Definitely recommended

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and offered all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Monastiraki and very close to the Thissio station, making it easy to get around the city. The host was incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations about the area. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens!

We stayed at Maria’s for about a week and enjoyed our stay! It was fairly close (7min) walk to the metro and one or two stops away from all of the attractions. Very peaceful and quiet location, with lots of space and nice balcony to enjoy a different view of Athens.

Oresti’s place was wonderful. Extremely convenient and comfortable. The only complaint I can find is, as an American, having washcloths would have been nice and it took us a few minutes to find the cupboards with the dishes. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends, family and clients

If you are viewing Paschalis’ listing and it’s available, book it. Don’t hesitate. It is in the best neighborhood with incredible views of the Acropolis. Our only wish was that the bed was facing the balcony so we could stare at the view all night. There are so many great bars and restaurants within short walking distance. It’s such a vibrant area but it wasn’t loud in the apartment. Well he returning to Athens soon and can only hope to stay here again!

Eine der besten Airbnb Unterkünfte in denen ich je wahr . Tolle Lage in einer schönen Gegend , trotzdem zentral , super gemütlich ,alles da was man braucht . Die Dachterasse ist natürlich das absolute Highlight und wir lagen jeden Abend auf den Liegen und haben zur Akropolis geguckt . Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberim war super und sie hat uns sofort geholfen als ein kleines Problem auftrat. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur jedem ans Herz legen .

This apartment was amazing! The location was exceptional - dozens of restaurants and shops, all within a few hundred metres and walkable to all the major attractions. The apartment was clean, well appointed, had everything we needed and so many little extra touches - double glazing so it was quiet even when the streets were noisy, external shutters to block light, coffee pods etc. Kostis was so friendly and helpful and provided so many local recommendations. We ate and drank exclusively where he recommended and had amazing meal after amazing meal, met lovely locals, had the best time. The view was exceptional and sitting on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine once the kids were asleep was just lovely. Thank you for an incredible stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we next return to Athens.

Great place to stay with my 5 year old child. Clean, quiet and easy in/out. Walkability was excellent- to coffee shop, bakery, super market, metro, train station and lots of restaurants both quick bites and nice sit down. Loved that there was a farmers market on Tuesdays 7 minutes walking distance. Great roof deck views.
