House vacation rentals in Gaasterland

A beautiful location close to the woods. Around the corner is a sand dune, and a short drive by car to the woods. The chalet has a spacious garden that is certainly dog friendly. The chalet itself was spacious and tidy. Highly recommended!

We were there in June as a group of four – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay totally thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes by car.

We loved our stay at Willem's cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with a spacious garden. All amenities have been thought of. We were with our toddler (2.5) and baby (4 months) and found the cottage well equipped for this. The toddler could play on the trampoline all day and there were plenty of toys. The cottage is also well insulated and can be cooled well. The park was neat and very quiet (in the low season, June). We were regularly the only ones in the pool, even in good weather. The playground was spacious and with many different playground equipment. For groceries and cafes, you can drive to Ommen within 10 minutes. There are several fun activities to do, a visit to the mill was the highlight of the holiday for our toddler. From the cottage you can walk right into the woods. You can feel the tranquility and nature. We can recommend this cottage to everyone!

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

What an amazing place! So beautiful in the middle of nature and the house is really spacious enough for 6 people. Upon arrival there was a high chair and camping bed ready. We had brought a box with us for outside because of the decking, which is a meter higher than the ground around it. A nice bike ride and you're in Ommen. We enjoyed it!

The location and the house certainly contributed to the beautiful memories we made during our annual getaway with sisters, mother, brother and aunt!,

Spectacular, I loved it. Everything was very nice, super tidy, and the place was charming. I recommend it. If I go on another trip, I would definitely stay here and for more days. It makes you want to stay longer

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Aukje's house. The house is very well equipped. We also particularly liked the beautiful south-facing terrace on the water. You could rent bicycles and boats from Aukje. If you had any questions, she was always available. There is plenty to explore in Lemmer and the surrounding area. We will be back for sure!

Very nice, small cottage. Quietly located on a campsite. Equipped with everything you need, very clean, we lacked nothing. You need a car to explore the surrounding area or wheels. There were also great playgrounds on site for our son and also an indoor playground. Excellent. We'd love to come back 😁

We had a great time in Sneek and the place was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practically furnished. The terrace and whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks upon arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and took a small tour. All around beautiful!

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Geert's cozy cottage. It is very idyllic and quiet, located directly on a small lake, and we were able to unwind wonderfully. Geert was easy to reach and friendly. Everything was very clean and tidy. We liked it so much that we booked the next vacation directly with Geert.

Diana was very friendly and gave us many helpful tips. We liked the apartment very much and it was stylishly furnished. The location captivates with its proximity to the center and the furnishings corresponded completely to the description and had a high standard. We would come back here anytime.

We spent a wonderful weekend at René's place. Fantastic accommodation in a fantastic location. Lovely and modern furnishings. Bright, with beautiful views of the garden and water. Great terrace on the water. Outstanding amenities, cooking island, Quooker, grill, to name a few. The cat Flo rounds it all off. She enjoys the presence of the guests very much. Very good communication with the host and nice conversation with the neighbor when handing over the keys. The whole idyll is disturbed only by the ringing of the church bells during the night, too bad, but the host can do nothing about it. Since the temperatures have now risen quite high above Corpus Christi (about 30 degrees), you had to have the bedroom windows open at night, so the ringing was particularly disturbing.

We spent a few very nice and quiet days in Hotze's accommodation. It is located right in nature and is very quiet. From here you could easily explore the surroundings by bike or car. The place looked even more beautiful and larger than in the photos! If we were in the area again, we would book with Hotze again! ☺️

We had an incredibly nice time in this tastefully decorated cottage. Everything was perfect: great landscape with cows, ducks, wild birds as the perfect backdrop for our bike tours. We enjoyed staying at and in the house - outside the free-range chickens and inside the great ambience, which enchanted with a lot of love for detail. Definitely we will be back.

My girls and I have been very excited about the beautiful place Lemmer. The place was very bright, modern and welcoming. I'm sure you'll notice a few things on closer inspection, but that didn't hurt the overall impression. We were surprised how central the place was. A club just around the corner, supermarkets can even be reached on foot in a few minutes. Restaurants, small cute shops and also the beach are not far away and can be reached in 2-10 minutes. The double bunk beds are unfortunately very uncomfortable, but the double bed is amazing ! Tessa was always quick to reach and always helped you quickly. We definitely recommend the place. A visit to Lemmer is a must-see.

We stayed in the accommodation for a week with six people and it was one of the best Airbnbs we've all ever stayed at. The place is just as beautiful as the pictures, everything is sparkling clean and the amenities are excellent. The location is of course also a dream - both the terrace in front of the entrance door and the one behind the house have a beautiful view and you can lie wonderfully by the water and relax. The trampoline with sea views is also a highlight:) The communication was great: super fast, very friendly and we got all the information in detail in advance. This property has really thought of everything and we can definitely recommend it! Only if you are afraid of spiders, you should possibly think again, because in the evening there were really a lot of larger spiders on the house. But here, too, everything has been thought of, there are numerous fly screens and if you pay attention when ventilating, you still have a spider-free house:)

We stayed in their lovely home with your two kids, we didn't have the best weather but still enjoyed our stay. The location is lovely and the home is spacious, clean and well kept. We used the bikes once to go shopping for a few little items when we didn't feel like taking the car and played some midget golf with the kids. We had a lovely stay.

We were personally greeted by our nice hostess Anke and we enjoyed our stay very much. The great large kitchen, the beautiful outdoor area and the many different rooms were perfect for our large group. The location is great, right on the canal and everything is within walking distance. Thank you very much, we will be happy to come back.

Our stay in the beautiful vacation home was great! It had everything you need. Patricia responded to messages promptly. Thanks also for the flexible check-in and check-out :) It would have been good to know in advance that two large towels were missing, then we would have brought some ourselves. Otherwise, everything is great and highly recommended!

Jon and kristel have a delightful home and we felt very fortunate to be living in it for three days. The huge space inside is delightfully furnished and equipped, and the outside has so many different areas in which to sit, read, talk and relax. But, above all, our stay was enhanced by the wonderful welcome from our hosts.
