Vacation rentals with beach access in Gaasterland

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

We felt very comfortable at Ympkje's. The apartment was as shown in the pictures and very nicely decorated. As a welcome greeting, there was even cake and fresh flowers. The location was very quiet, easy to find and only 10 minutes from the sea. Ympkje was very helpful and always easy to reach. In the apartment you have everything you need for a stay. The only drawback is that the bedroom is not separated by a door from the rest of the apartment. We were there with our little son, highly recommend the accommodation and would travel there again at any time.

A very pleasant and spacious apartment in an old mansion with beautiful views. Anne and Paul are very welcoming and have all the time and attention for you. I'd love to come back.

A wonderful home away from home. Great size beds, comfortable add ons, large dining room table. Water views and a short walk from Harderwijk town centre. Dennis was really flexible with our check in as we got held up but that didn’t bother him. Highly recommend and we cannot wait to return!!

First of all, Alex, Liz and their parents are really very warm and caring for their guests. They can be reached at any time. Thanks to their hospitality, we immediately felt like we were on vacation. The apartment is very nice and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped and sunny for breakfast and starting a beautiful day. The garden is beautiful and there are plenty of small discreet corners where you can sit. It was an enchanting break and we hope to return.

We had a nice long weekend in this comfortable apartment, with a comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. When the weather is nice, we also recommend a trip to Lelystad Nature Park.

We had a really nice stay with great views and a cozy, private balcony with evening sun. The decor is very tasteful and modern, the apartment is clean and well-maintained, the hosts are very friendly and make really delicious ice cream 😉 We will be happy to come back!

the house had everything we needed, and Terisa always answered . the house is a bit far from Amsterdam by public transport so take it to consideration. we had a good time in the house with a very kind welcoming when we came. great value for money!

Enkhuizen is a beautiful city. And Bart’s place is very central. Everything in the city is a 15 minute walk! Bright home with lots of options for enjoying a meal inside or on the patio. Would highly recommend as a place to stay!

We were traveling by bicycle and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly host. Thank you so much for this great start to the day. We felt very comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst, but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

Very welcoming, easily approachable. Beautiful location with lots of greenery, animals and tranquility. Nice, clean and well-equipped B&B with delicious breakfast. Enjoyed the wood stove. Recommended, even with young children!

Very nice location, very close to the city center. Important to note is that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the further surroundings with public transportation. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet area and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

The accommodation completely convinced us: very clean, everything you need for a holiday week, very comfortable beds, great bathroom, appealing outdoor area. Very friendly, uncomplicated hosts, always available and with proactive tips, e.g. on the changed route. We can fully recommend Micaela and John's house.

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The house was just like in the photos – very clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We particularly enjoyed the view of the water, which made the stay really special. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly and we felt welcome from the beginning. Small extras such as a welcome greeting and local tips were also a nice surprise. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend this house!

The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. If we had any questions, they were immediately available and the location was great. Free parking was right outside the door and also a Spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes' walk away. In the immediate vicinity were also restaurants. Quick access to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. All in all a nice place and we would definitely come back! Julia and Tommy

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. As a result, there is also constantly fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. On the dike, there is also a beach for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. The dog has also been thought of. We'd love to come back.

Very nice place to stay. It was amazingly clean and it smelled good. Internet speed is ~200 Mbits, more than sufficient. Johanna was very friendly and was already waiting for us at the property. She always tried to make our stay as nice as possible. Beautiful quiet location. What should possibly be considered for the stay: The bedroom is open. There is no door or similar between the rest of the accommodation.

10+ years on AirBnB and this is hands down our favorite experience. Five stars is not enough! The house was immaculately clean, with comfortable and modern design. It felt like a luxury hotel - but with character. Our hosts anticipated our needs and left out everything we could want. The neighborhood is quiet but convenient for tourists - walkable to De Pijp, and right by a tram stop. We cooked meals in the evenings, the kitchen is fantastic, and enjoyed lots of time on the patio. It was ideal for our family of four (3 & 14 year olds). I had a wonderful stay! The host was polite, very responsive, and maintained great communication throughout. The location is excellent—close to everything I needed—and the apartment was spotless, well-organized, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely book again and highly recommend both the host and the apartment.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Lily’s place. Tastefully decorated in blue and white, new bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good welcome and instruction leaflet in several languages, great balcony and view of the IJsselmeer and your own parking spot in the back. If you don’t have children I wouldn’t stay in this area during the school holidays as it will be busy and noisy. Now it was perfect, quiet and peaceful and would definetely recommend staying in this lovely apartment.

Brian was great from beginning to end. We got instructions for finding the keys in a lock box, got into the apartment and immediately felt at home. Clean, light, airy and comfortable. Brian gave us local restaurant recommendations that were perfect. And quickly responded when I couldn't figure out the washing machine. It was seamless from beginning to end. The location is perfect for long canal walks, exploring a fun area of the city and close to bus and tram lines to get you whereever you want to go. Highly recommend!
