Dino’s home is one of the top three AirBnBs that we have stayed in, and we have stayed at over 30+ AirBnBs from Peru to Portugal, Europe and the US. Moreover, he is easily the best host we have ever stayed with. He was waiting for us when we arrived and spent 30 minutes showing us where everything was and how to use it. I would strongly recommend his home to anyone looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful location.

Very good stay. The view and layout of the house that allows you to enjoy the view from everywhere are really the highlight of this cottage. It's also very nice to be able to walk to all the activities offered by this beautiful city of Furnas. Thanks also to José Maria, always attentive and proactive.

We had a wonderful stay at Jose's. We were two families, four young kids and it was the perfect setup for us. We liked the location, as it wasn't downtown so it was quiet and had a good backyard for the kids, a pool, and a beautiful view! It was also easy to get to other parts of the island from. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook in. After being at the house for 5 days, a crew came and changed the linens and cleaned the house! We mostly communicated with Tomas, who checked us in and Joana. Both were lovely and very helpful! They were also extremely accommodating with check in/check-out! We were able to check in early which was critical for the kids after a redeye and they let us check out later than the normal check-out time. We highly recommend this house for future guest!

Home was beautiful and full of charm. Yard was huge and great for kids to play in. Overall great place!

The property is gorgeous and the natural ocean pool is incredible!! Perfect place to stay on the island for a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful stay here.

It's hard to find a superlative for this house. Our nicest one (of three) on the acores. It feels like a good hotel, but is much more private. The view is breathtaking and the so is the pool & the jaccuzi. Everything you need is there.

Our stay in Furnas was amazing! Our air bnb was just blocks away from the calderas and walkable to town. Parking was easy, free, and right across the street. The house had everything we needed and is a great value for larger groups. Nuno was very responsive and clear with his communications. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Furnas.

I stayed here for a week with my family (including two kids - ages 8 and 10) and we had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel - it is easy to get to all parts of the island - and is very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The recently renovated kitchen is a huge plus too - we had no trouble cooking dinner at home one night (there is a huge grocery store nearby). Laetitia was also a wonderful host, leaving a basket of local treats to welcome us, connecting us with a rental car agency, and otherwise being very helpful.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Luis’s place. It was spacious and beautiful and very well located. Luis was very helpful and flexible with check in and check out, which was very much appreciated. We loved everything about this home, one thing to note is that we did see a large bug inside the home. It would not deter me from staying here again as it is a gorgeous home, but perhaps something worth mentioning. Thank you Luís for a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

Pierre’s manor may be the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. An authentic, comfortable, well-maintained 200+ year old property that has many nooks and crannies to explore. You will have a view of both the ocean and farm land—rolling hills and pastures. Bucolic and peaceful. Only about a 7 minute drive from the main road. Breakfast was simple but delicious too. Stay here!

Marion is a great host, kind, generous and always available. The place was, in fact, even more beautiful than the pictures. We immediately felt comfortable. Very clean and comfortable, great courtyard and very convenient to let the kids play. Slightly set back from the city, we loved it for the tranquility and the magnificent view! Conveniently located to visit all corners of the island. Unbeatable value for money. I recommend it without hesitating!

We really enjoyed staying at Isabel’s place. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside and in the cozy living room. The location was ideal for our daily road trips on this beautiful island. Isabel was very quick to respond to any question we had. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!

We've just returned from a week at Vila Alegre and loved it! It is a real gem, and Antonio and Maggie are wonderful hosts. The place was easy to find, and it is just as lovely as in the photos. We were greeted by Antonio and Maggie who showed us around and explained how everything worked and where to find things. They had thoughtfully provided a welcome basket of local produce to get us started, and we enjoyed these goodies. They were also happy to provide information and tips on places to visit. The apartment is well equipped and furnished in a comfortable, homely style. The highlight has to be the garden room! It is so relaxing to sit there gazing out over the magnificent garden and listening to the birds. The garden is truly amazing - it is huge, and so well maintained - it is clearly Antonio's passion, and we felt very lucky to share it for a few days. We hired a car for the duration of our stay, and I would say that you do need a car when staying here. We would love to return.

The apartment was very well equipped and spacious, with easy parking in the area. Perfect location, 10 minutes from downtown by car. Luis was attentive at all times and recommended a lot of restaurants and things to see on the island. Highly recommend this place.

The accomodation is located at the heart of Lagoa, which is perfect to visit the island of Sao Miguel. The apartment has an amazing view on the bay and is perfectly clean. Jose is a very nice host and he proactively gave recommendations on things to do/visit on the island. My wife and I spent a few nights there and we highly recommend this place!

The location of the place is great, close to the airport and centrally located to reach all corners of the island quickly. We arrived in the middle of the night and were still welcomed in person. The highlight of the place is the view of the sea from the bedroom, but the rest of the place is also very nice and cozy.

Lotus House was sensational! We were a family group ranging in ages from 17 months old to 67 years old , and the house and property were comfortable and suitable for all ages. We were thrilled to see papayas and bananas growing in the yard. The kitchen really is well equipped- we fell in love with the espresso machine. There are comfortable mattresses on all the beds and plenty of towels and bath supplies. The heated pool, hot tub, and grounds made being at home so much fun. Even when it was 56 degrees and raining we were in the pool, and it was still comfortable. The AL Acores management team was impressively responsive. We had a very minor plumbing issue which was fixed within hours. When we arrived there were diapers in the crib, which was very thoughtful, and when one of the kids needed to see a doctor, we got excellent advice and thoughtful followup check-ins. I've stayed in a lot of airbnbs, and this is definitely one of the best.

Tradicampo is a beautiful place to stay with incredible hosts. I left feeling very relaxed and content. The local produce and recommendations were very generous and helpful! I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Sao Miguel!

We felt very comfortable with Teresa! The apartment is very spacious and it is as described. The location is really good, it is quiet and you can explore many corners of the island from there. Highly recommended!

Vila Vista Vale was so beautiful! We felt like we had a whole resort to ourselves! The garden and pool were amazing! It was so nice to have outdoor spaces to eat or enjoy our coffee. The pool was such a fun place to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome basket was so thoughtful! We were able to walk to the parks and hot springs, the store and the restaurants. It was also a great location for driving to enjoy the nearby sites like the beach and the tea plantation. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone wanting an awesome home base for the island of Sao Miguel. Raul was very responsive to my messages and proactive to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible!

We were greeted with fresh eggs from their own chickens and a pineapple. We had a very nice time in Patricia's farmhouse, which was always quickly accessible, the farmhouse is fantastic and offers a beautiful view of the sea from its own garden. The farmhouse offers everything to feel immediately comfortable.

Photos don’t do justice to this beautiful house and spacious property. It’s absolutely wonderful. Clean, comfortable. The host family lives on the property in a separate house and is so friendly. They answered all of our questions and helped us with anything we needed. The house is modern and beautiful. There’s a huge lawn and view of the ocean. This house is a gem. We loved everything about it.
