Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Friedrichroda

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

Beautiful weekend home from the first minute. Communication with Rebecca and Philipp was straightforward and warm. The house was perfect for 9 adults: lots of cozy corners for playing, chatting, reading or even working. Great amenities! The surroundings are an inexhaustible hiking paradise. You definitely need a car to get there and to go on excursions. We will be happy to come back!

A beautiful place to relax & explore. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of love for detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

The five of us girls felt very comfortable at the place. We had everything we needed. Even to cook extensive unusual meals. The house is very nicely located at the end of the village and you can walk from there directly behind the house to the first "local mountain." It is also only a few minutes to the market square with a restaurant and ice cream parlor. We had it fantastically quiet here, although there is even construction going on opposite, or rather an old half-timbered house is being restored. The corner has something very picturesque. The beds were comfortable and two bathrooms with two showers and toilets perfect for us. We were even able to enjoy the sun on the terrace and in front of the house at the beginning of April. Thanks again to Manja !!! And also for the great tip with the harbor restaurant to Schlagt, which is only a few minutes away in Wanfried. Also highly recommended!

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

Dagmar's beautiful house with wonderful views leaves nothing to be desired. The reception is tremendously warm and everything is thought of in advance. Thank you! We would love to come back and enjoy the tranquility in the Rhön with its exceptionally beautiful flower meadows.

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best regards and thank you for the beautiful days in Thuringia.

We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the picture. You can take a very nice walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We had very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small town invites you to small and large hikes. If you get into the car, you can reach the famous sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the Schwarze Moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. We were guests at Thorben and Christina's time as guests of Thorben and Christina and it was once again very relaxed and beautiful in Machtlos. The place is cozy and nothing is missing. Our dogs also arrived quickly and we were able to enjoy the vacation very much. We'd love to come back! :-)

The location and apartment were great. Really pleasant for two people and a dog and everything fit and looked like in the photos. The kitchen is very well furnished and the view from the terrace is beautiful.

The apartment is very nice and well/well equipped. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking, and the utensils are in great shape and are in great shape. The bathroom is also comfortable and the large bathtub invites you to relax on a cool day. The lots of wood in the apartment adds to a cozy ambiance. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful and easily accessible. The location is beautiful surrounded by nature. You can take wonderful walks through the greenery from the apartment. It's just the thing if you want to relax and unwind. We would visit again immediately and would also like to try the restaurant next time, which unfortunately was closed at the time. Full score! :)

We had a completely successful stay at Nicole and Helga's! The apartment was very clean, lovingly decorated and well equipped – ideal for our three-day hiking holiday in the Thuringian Forest. Nicole and Helga are exceptionally warm and accommodating hosts. Upon arrival, we felt immediately welcome. Even during our stay, they were at our side with valuable tips about the surroundings. After extensive hikes in the beautiful nature of the Thuringian Forest, we were able to end the day in the evening relaxing on the balcony – simply wonderful! We had a fantastic stay in Benno, the car! My wife and I enjoyed every minute – the loving decor, the quiet location right on the edge of the forest and the view of the countryside immediately provided relaxation. Everything was super clean and designed with a lot of heart. Unfortunately, we were only there one night – next time we will definitely stay longer! Thank you so much for this special experience.

We had a wonderful vacation at Dirk and Silke's. The apartment was large, the beds comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Dirk and Silke responded very quickly and were very accommodating. Check-in using the key box was very easy and straightforward. Check-out was also without any problems. The area is ideal for hiking, but there is also a lot to experience in Georgenthal and the Thuringian Forest for families. The apartment is great for excursions. We will definitely come back!
