It‘s all about the details of design and living (from the signature house scent and the open-air shower to the tasteful interior design and the infinity pool overlooking the rough cliffs of crete), total peace far away from hustle and bustle and waking up to the breathtaking, unmatched view of the sea right from your bed. Einat was a great host, she welcomed us personally and was always there for any questions. Good to know: In the region are not many mini- or supermarkets and everything is at least a 15 min drive away. But you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the apartment if you want so and Einats recommendations for great tavernas, beaches and beautiful villages in the area are worth every ride! You should listen to her tips, because some of them were the gems of our crete trip for sure. It was definetly not our last visit. Thanks for the great experience!

Ett fantastiskt hus med underbar havsutsikt och alla bekvämligheter! Smakfullt inrett med bra kvalitet både inomhus och utomhus. Mycket privat läge utan insyn. Ljuvlig altan med pool, parasoller och utemöbler. Blev mottagna personligen i huset på utsatt tid och fick en rundvisning av huset och alla funktioner samt en korg med specialiteter från Kreta. Gångavstånd ca 5-10 min till Plakias med affärer och restauranger. Det enda vi hade önskat var några fler krokar att hänga kläder på.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. this is a great Villa to stay at in central Crete that made it easy to branch off to many other areas of the island the best part was the Villa itself with its swimming pool and the views. great place to stay close to the small village of margarite. highly recommend it's got to be one of the best places to stay in all of Crete. Michalis was a great representing host.

Der Urlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung war traumhaft schön! Georgios und Despoina waren liebenswerte und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Wir hatten von unserer Terrasse /Balkon und sogar vom Bett aus einen wunderschönen Blick über die Bucht und das Meer! Wir konnten uns nicht daran satt sehen. Die Wohnung war top ausgestattet und die Einrichtung sehr modern. Wir haben die Zeit dort so sehr genossen und möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen :-) Wir vermissen Matala jetzt schon! A little piece of paradise We had an unforgettable stay as a couple in this beautiful apartment in Agia Pelagia. Every morning started with breakfast under the bougainvillea, watching the sunrise over the sea – absolutely magical. Just a few steps and we were swimming in crystal-clear water. Pure bliss! The apartment is stylish, spotless, and well-equipped with all essentials like soap, detergent, and toilet paper. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals comfortably and had all the necessary utensils. A lovely surprise was the thoughtful welcome gift: coffee, wine, fruit, cookies, and water – such a kind gesture. Shops are just minutes away on foot, and everything was super convenient. We truly felt at home and appreciated the care the hosts put into every detail. We’re already dreaming of coming back! Thank you for everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Villa and felt at home in this peaceful and luxurious space. Highly recommend Georgina, Jenny and George as a team supporting our chef experiences, local recommendations and house needs. We came with another couple and had plenty of space - and could easily see coming back with our extended family! Highlights: snorkeling off the pier at the house, a pet gecko, in-house massages with Angela, and morning coffee with gorgeous sunrise views. We laid out by the pool daily.

Beautiful stay at Villa Marae, exactly as in the pictures the villa is spacious, modern and welcoming with all amenities you could need, we felt right at home for the entire week. All the bedrooms have spacious wardrobes and plenty of hangers, all with en-suite bathrooms, good quality bath towels and beach towels, comfortable beds. The outside space is serene, with views of the ocean and some beautiful sunsets too. Welcomed at the villa by the owner Maria, who shown us around, provided a welcome basket and also some other shopping essentials as we arrived very late. She also met us when leaving to say goodbye with a Cretan gift as souvenir. The personal touch was lovely. Etouri Team are very responsive to queries, recommendations and we found them super helpful. Overall a 5* stay
