There is an own parking lot, terrace (BBQ) and canopy/bicycle shed. The house is not for partying young people . Due to the open staircase, it is not suitable for young children. What a beautiful place to stay! The location is very quiet and special with views from every room, lots of light and a lovely garden. Marlies and her husband were welcoming and helpful. The decor was tasteful and cozy and even with many guests the house was spacious. In the kitchen there was plenty of crockery to cover nicely for a dinner in the house. Highlights were the ping pong table and (tuned) piano!

Coach house near Organic Farm

In 2016, I already spent a weekend with friends in the Coach House. I liked that, so just booked again. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sjoerd and Jeltsje. Fresh eggs, flowers and a welcome card on the table. The Carriage House is an oasis of peace just a few minutes from Dokkum. Behind the cottage you can enjoy the beautiful view from the wind in the spring sun. Also nice that we were free to take a look in the stables. In the evening we had a nice glass of wine in the hot tub. The downside was the extra cost; the hot tub was more expensive than listed on Airbnb and it was also not indicated that we had to pay extra for the towels (€15 for 5). Too bad, because we would have brought them ourselves. Nevertheless, it is and remains a great place to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful accommodation that is highly recommended. Very quiet location right on the water, just wonderful. 😊 The hosts are extremely accommodating and even responded to our extra requests (toaster). We will definitely be back and look forward to it! 😍

A hidden gem in Friesland

We booked this stay as a gift for my parents. The cottage is cozy, clean and fully furnished. Everything you need is present – from fine lighting to good blackout curtains and a lovely bed. The bathroom was fresh and comfortable, with a nice shower and plenty of towels. The garden is spacious and quiet, with a cozy seating area. Inside there are fun games, which is a nice alternative to a TV. The kitchen is compact, but practical with, among other things, an air fryer and stove. The only downside: there was no freezer compartment. The contact with Anita was excellent. She is very friendly, welcomes you warmly and had decorated the cottage extra nicely for the occasion. She also gave nice tips about the area. The location is quiet, yet close to Dokkum and Leeuwarden. Parking was also easy. All in all, a very successful stay.
